West Newton, Massachusetts, United States

For sale is my 2000 Integra LS with a Gsr swap. The GSR was swaped in because the old setup was a LSV with the original block but I blew the motor. Car has 118k on it and is still on 93 oct gas. Im the 3rd owner of the car and I bought it 2 years ago completely stock. Its never been in any accidents but because I cut up the old bumper to fit the intercooler, I got a new one and that and the RF fender painted and blended with the door, along with the type-r lip to all match.

Engine: b18c1, LS tranny, new water pump, t-belt, tensioner and crank pulley, oil pan, alternator, valve cover gasket, distributor, spark plugs, wires, slave cylinder, Stage 4 comp clutch and ACT 12lbs flywheel from my old setup (very user friendly, not a heavy pedal). Type-r intake with 525cc Precision injectors, Golden eagle fuel rail, AEM fuel filter, Walboro 255,AEM short air intake, Brand new yonaka headers, blox racing test pipe to 2.5 inch stainless steel exhaust to HKS style muffler. CX racing radiator, Misimoto radiator hoses and low temp thermostat.

Suspension ,brakes, wheels,: Omni Power 1 piece coilovers in the front and Skunk2 in the rear. Blox racing lower control arms and tie bar. Blox racing 21mm rear sway bar. DC sports rear strut tower bar. USDM type-r front swar bar with Hardrace front bushings and links. Hardrace front upper control arms(camber kits). New MOOG RF inner and outer tie rods, and LF outer tie rod. Rota C8 wheels with BF Goodrich G-force tires. EBC front rotors and pads, rears were done not to long ago.

Interior: GSR leathers, NRG 2.5gen quick release with lock and 350mm wheel. type-r arm rest delete. NRG harness bar, Megan racing c-pillar bar. Kenwood head unit with Pioneer door speakers, AEM wideband. Innovative shift linkage with Energy suspension bushings and skunk2 dual bend short shifter. 35% tint on front windows and 20% around the back. Comes with 2-way alarm and two sets of keys!

BAD: car needs some body work in the back in my opinion. Has rust on the RR quarter as shown and the back bumper has dings and dents from the previous owner. Car also has no power steering(but the lines are looped to preserve the rack) or a/c because it was a turbo car.

Acura TSX Sport Wagon on the way out?

Fri, 07 Jun 2013

With Acura widely expected to consolidate its TSX and TL sedans into one model line in the near future, the fate of the TSX Sport Wagon is unsurprisingly in doubt. The long-rumored one-for-two sedan replacement is said to be dubbed TLX, and will sit above the Honda Civic-derived ILX, a model that already encroaches on the TSX's pricing and size. According to Ward's Auto, Acura officials are refusing to confirm that today's TSX wagon - effectively a re-schnozzed European-market Accord estate - is facing extinction. Reading the tea leaves, however, things certainly don't look good - the European Accord itself is said to be on the bubble and may not be replaced.
The TSX Sport Wagon was brought to the US as a niche play for the 2011 model year, with Acura of Canada taking a pass on the bodystyle. Officials said at the time that it hoped to shift 4,000 units per annum, roughly a 10-percent sliver of US TSX sales. And while Acura doesn't normally break out the wagon in its sales reports, Autoblog was able to obtain the model's totals for the last two years: the company sold 3,210 Sport Wagons in 2011, improving to 4,234 units last year. The current 2013 model began trickling into showrooms in December, but some dealers are still looking to clear out remaining 2012 models at handsome discounts.

2014 Acura MDX goes for a camouflaged cruise

Tue, 16 Oct 2012

While the often misunderstood (and infrequently purchased) Acura ZDX may be going the way of the dinosaur, the company's far more conventional and successful MDX SUV is evolving. In fact, the 2014 MDX seems to be coming along rather nicely, if this latest set of spy images is any indication.
In the camouflaged prototype we see here, it is evident that Acura designers are going for a beefier look for the MDX front end. The current car's pointed and beaked nose are nowhere in evidence on this tester, though some version of Acura's prominent shield grille does seem to remain.
It's a bit difficult to tell if the shape of the glasshouse is much revised on this new car, as the camo is applied in such a fashion as to obscure the post C-pillar design. But it does seem as though, when we look hard at the full-profile shots of the MDX, that the wheel-arch bulges and side character lines of the current vehicle have been replaced with much simpler surfacing.

Acura recalling 43k MDX and RLX models over seatbelt issue

Tue, 14 Oct 2014

If you've ever lived in a wintery climate, you may have noticed something strange: no, not the perilously enticing sparkle of cold metal in the sunlight or the way your warm breath suddenly becomes visible in the frigid air, but the way your seatbelt seems increasingly reluctant to retract as the temperature drops. Acura, however, has found the problem more serious than a minor inconvenience, and is recalling some 43,000 vehicles across the United States to address the issue.
The recall in question affects about 7,000 RLX sedans (from the 2014 model year) and another 36,000 MDX crossovers (covering the 2014 and 2015 model years) to have their front seatbelts replaced. In the affected vehicles and in very low temperatures, Acura has found that "the driver's and front passenger's seatbelts may not release from the retracted position." Needless to say, seatbelts that can't be used don't offer any protection in the event of an accident, so the Japanese automaker is notifying owners and dealers to hook up to have those seatbelts replaced.
