Well ladies and gents, the time has come and I've decided to see what I can get for the ol' girl. I bought this car in 2006. Drove down to North Carolina and trailored it back. It had roughly 40k on it then, now it has 126k. Anyway, I love this car and as much as it pains me it's just time to move on.
Engine: -Energy Suspension motor mount polyurethane inserts -Injen short-ram intake -Buddy Club Race Header -Comptech Exhaust (2.5" inner diameter) -Hondata Kpro ECU -Buddy Club short shifter -HKS ground wire kit -Installed brand new OEM clutch and clutch master cylinder/clutch slave cylinder over the summer Suspension: -Function/form type II coilovers -Comptech rear tie bar -Stock 02-04's with new rubber Exterior: -Full authentic DC5 RSX Type-R lip kit -DC5 Type-R Sidemarkers -DIY Blackout headlights -Color-matched grill -Rolled fenders -Tinted (20%) -Brake ducts (currently non-functional, however have the hardware to make them functional) -6k HID headlights (DDM Depot) Interior: -Moddiction Chrome shift knob -Pioneer D3 double din headunit -Super duper JDM coin holder Random/Extras -Switchblade key fob -Benen tow hook (uninstalled) I think I covered just about everything. It is truly a fantastic car and has been nothing but dependable for me during my ownership. As far as the negatives (let's face it, every car has at least one), the front lip is a bit scratched toward the bottom on the passenger side. The front bumper also has spider cracks from being backed into. The car also has about 2-3 small dings (nothing serious but I want the potential buyer to know what they're getting). Overall, it's in very good shape considering the car is 11 years old. All you need is a set of ballin' wheels for summer! |

Acura NSX prototype gets back on track
Thu, 30 Oct 2014Developing a new vehicle is not without its complications, we're sure, but usually things follow a fairly predictable progression: you develop a prototype, you test it, test it and test it again, then you put it into production. What you don't expect is that your prototype will burn to the ground, but that's what famously happened to the NSX which Honda engineers were testing a few months ago.
Fortunately, the Acura NSX prototype is back on track, both literally and figuratively, as you can see from this latest batch of spy shots snapped at the Nürburgring. This camouflaged prototype looks pretty much the same as the last one, only, you know... less crispy. Which is to say, it looks pretty much ready to hit showrooms.
The naysayers may point out that Honda chose colder and damper weather to put the NSX back into testing - thereby mitigating the risk of another fire - but we're sure the Japanese automaker has been working hard to fix the flammability issues, whatever may have caused them, over the past few months. At least, we hope they have.
NSX Concept-GT is the world's hottest way to boil water
Sat, 05 Oct 2013The Honda NSX Concept-GT is one sexy machine, and it looks to be a very effective tool on a race circuit. But Honda's latest web spot leads us to believe that it also can be used to make tea.
In the video, the racecar is hooked up to an apparatus that uses tubing to harness the energy from the car's 500-horsepower hybrid drive system, using it to boil water. The novel tea-making technique reminds us a bit of a couple other inventive Honda commercials, namely Hands and Cog.

Cody Loveland's Corvette-powered NSX claimed by Pikes Peak
Tue, 25 Jun 2013Let there be no doubt - racing automobiles can be very dangerous. This unfortunate fact of life has been proven once again today by Cody Loveland, owner of LoveFab, who crashed his Corvette-powered tube-frame Acura NSX on the second turn of the Pikes Peak hill climb course, apparently after a rear upper control arm failed. Cody hit a wall of boulders at high speed, after which the racecar caught fire.
Cody was able to escape the blaze unhurt - minus some missing hair that was singed off in the fire - but the car appears to be a complete mess, as you can see from the image above. The LoveFab Motorsports team has vowed to do its very best to rebuilt the car in time for the competition, but we'd be awfully surprised (and impressed) if that burnt-up hulk were ready for racing with just a few days to rebuild.
We're happy to hear that Cody got away safely, and here's hoping the rest of the competitors get up the hill without incident, or, like Cody, are at least able to walk away uninjured if they don't.
