Our growing family has outgrown this great car. It was my wife's daily driver until our latest little one came along. It is in excellent condition with no salvage history or anything like that. It gets outstanding gas mileage and has always been regularly serviced. It has a fresh oil change, two almost new tires and two with plenty of tread still left. Jump in the car now without a worry! It is loaded with power everything, leather seats with heated fronts. Sirius XM radio, sunroof, multiple cds, etc. The only flaws at all on this car is a small crack in the front spoiler as seen in one of the pics and a few very faint hail dings - maybe around 10 of them total. They don't show in pics, and honestly you wouldn't even notice them in person without the being mentioned unless you were hand-washing the car yourself. There are no other issues whatsoever with the car - no fender-bender dings or scratches. Good windshield with a nice tent all around. There are hardly even any rock chips in the front paint. You couldn't ask for a better worry-free car. Clean, lien-free title in hand. |

Acura ILX Hybrid discontinued for 2015
Tue, 17 Jun 2014Earlier today, Acura issued a press release detailing its entry-level 2015 ILX range, but something was missing. Honda's luxury arm listed all of the information about the naturally aspirated 2.0-liter and 2.4-liter ILX models, but nothing was said about the Hybrid - a model that, when we reviewed it in 2013, left us utterly cold. But now we know why: Acura has confirmed to Autoblog that the ILX Hybrid will be discontinued for the 2015 model year.
The company issued the following statement to us regarding the hybrid's demise:
The 2015 ILX remains a standout choice in the entry premium segment with its combination of performance, luxury, refinement and value and is the top-selling luxury vehicle to younger buyers. Based on the stronger appeal of the ILX 2.0 and 2.4 models, we are streamlining the ILX lineup to better align with customer demand, Acura will no longer offer the ILX Hybrid starting with the 2015 model year.
Honda discontinuing Euro Accord, no replacement in sight

There's the one we're familiar with here in the United States, and then there's the Accord sold in markets like Europe and Australia, known here in the US as the Acura TSX. But just like Acura did with the TSX, the Euro-market Accord has been discontinued.
The news comes from The Motor Report in Australia, which is reporting that the Accord Euro will be discontinued in 2015. Sold Down Under alongside the US-market model, the discontinuation of the Aussie car indicates an end to Honda's midsize sedan efforts in Europe, where there is no obvious replacement for the four-door and wagon models.
According to TMR, Honda Australia Director Stephen Collins indicated that focus will be placed instead on the US market "wide-body" model, as it's known. That said, this decision doesn't sound like it's sitting too well in Oz.
Acura TLX GT Racecar bringing the 'X factor' to Pirelli World Challenge
Tue, 14 Jan 2014One doesn't normally think of Acura offering anything to mix it up with the SRT Viper, Lamborghini Gallardo, Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, Nissan GT-R, Audi R8 and Ferrari 458 Italia (at least while the NSX is still off in the ether), but that's exactly what's about to happen. Honda's premium outpost is jumping into the top tier of the Pirelli World Challenge with this 2015 TLX GT.
The surprise reveal of this racecar at today's Detroit Auto Show will be campaigned by RealTime Racing, no stranger to racing Acuras, in the GT class (previously, the team had campaigned the series a rung down in GT-S).
The racecar is powered by a twin-turbo variant of the direct-injected V6 to be found in the production TLX sedan, right along with its Super-Handling All-Wheel Drive system. There's no word on how much power this HPD-massaged engine will put out in race trim, but we won't have to wait long to hear it fire up - the car is set to take to the track with team owner Peter Cunningham at the wheel in the next few weeks.
