dual-zone automatic climate control, a tilt/telescoping steering column, an
eight-way power driver seat with memory, a four-way power passenger seat,
leather upholstery, heated front seats, an auto-dimming rearview mirror and a
60/40-split-folding rear seatback. Also included are Bluetooth and a superb
10-speaker Acura/ELS surround-sound system with an in-dash six-CD/DVD-audio
changer, satellite radio, auxiliary radio jack and a USB port. The Technology Package incorporates a
rearview camera and a navigation system with voice recognition, real-time
traffic and weather forecasting. I am a Naval Aviator with orders to move to Japan and
I just can’t bear the thought of this car being in storage for three years so I
am reluctantly offering it for sale. I have the title in
hand so don't worry about having to wait until a loan is paid off. I am willing
to honestly answer any questions you might have or to take any additional
pictures that you might want. The
original factory floor mats are unused and included. The spot on the driver side

Acura ZDX getting the axe after 2013 despite new updates [w/poll]
Wed, 10 Oct 2012The Acura ZDX hasn't exactly lived a conventional existence, so perhaps we shouldn't be surprised that its death announcement isn't going according to standard industry protocol, either. Parent company Honda has taken the unusual step of trumpeting a refreshed-for-2013 model while simultaneously announcing that this will be the model's last year. According to Acura, the model's cancellation comes as the brand "sharpens its focus on new models and core products" like the forthcoming RLX sedan.
The audaciously styled crossover has been, to be charitable, a very reluctant seller since its 2009 introduction, but for 2013, Acura is jazzing up its concept car for the street with new kit. The changes include a lightly reworked front shield grille along with new power folding side mirrors and new tech features including lane departure and forward collision warning systems.
We'd say that announcing the model's discontinuation at the same time one is presenting a freshened model could hurt sales, but we're not sure there's anyone paying attention. Last year, Acura managed to shift just 1,564 units of the ZDX, giving it the No. 4 spot on our Worst Sellers of 2011 list. Through September, Automotive News reports that only 642 examples have been sold in 2012, making it one of the rarest new cars on the market.
Acura TLX GT Racecar bringing the 'X factor' to Pirelli World Challenge
Tue, 14 Jan 2014One doesn't normally think of Acura offering anything to mix it up with the SRT Viper, Lamborghini Gallardo, Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, Nissan GT-R, Audi R8 and Ferrari 458 Italia (at least while the NSX is still off in the ether), but that's exactly what's about to happen. Honda's premium outpost is jumping into the top tier of the Pirelli World Challenge with this 2015 TLX GT.
The surprise reveal of this racecar at today's Detroit Auto Show will be campaigned by RealTime Racing, no stranger to racing Acuras, in the GT class (previously, the team had campaigned the series a rung down in GT-S).
The racecar is powered by a twin-turbo variant of the direct-injected V6 to be found in the production TLX sedan, right along with its Super-Handling All-Wheel Drive system. There's no word on how much power this HPD-massaged engine will put out in race trim, but we won't have to wait long to hear it fire up - the car is set to take to the track with team owner Peter Cunningham at the wheel in the next few weeks.
NSX Concept-GT is the world's hottest way to boil water
Sat, 05 Oct 2013The Honda NSX Concept-GT is one sexy machine, and it looks to be a very effective tool on a race circuit. But Honda's latest web spot leads us to believe that it also can be used to make tea.
In the video, the racecar is hooked up to an apparatus that uses tubing to harness the energy from the car's 500-horsepower hybrid drive system, using it to boil water. The novel tea-making technique reminds us a bit of a couple other inventive Honda commercials, namely Hands and Cog.
