Up for sale, in great condition inside and out.
Inside: Non-smoking, like new interior with no rips, stains, smells, etc Outside: Great condition all the way around. I bought this car new in September 2011. Always garaged, paint shines like new. No accidents, no stories, all original, everything completely stock. The car has been serviced by the dealer since new and is not due for service until 40,000 miles. I am very particular about my cars and my descriptions. There are 2 imperfections on the exterior (see photos) 1. Two of the wheels are perfect, the other 2 have some small curb rash, one has about a 2.5 inch scrape the other, about 1 inch, barely noticeable (see photos) 2. Small dent in front passenger door (see photo) Warranty: This was copied from Acura website, please see acura.com for more detailed coverage. 2011 TSX is covered for 4 years or 50,000 miles. Powertrain Limited Warranty is covered for 6 years or 70,000 miles. Since the original purchase date was September 16th, 2011, that gives you complete coverage until September 16th, 2015 or 50,000 miles and September 16th, 2017 or 70,000 miles on the Powertrain. Watch an Acura NSX prototype lap the track at Mid-Ohio
Sun, 04 Aug 2013As promised, Acura trotted its NSX prototype out to the mass of waiting fans ahead of today's Honda Indy 200 IndyCar race at Mid-Ohio. The hybrid supercar took to the track for a fast lap, and Acura was kind enough to attach a score of cameras to the car in order to share the event with the rest of the world.
The blue-wrapped NSX looks pretty darn good on a race track, if we do say so ourselves, and its V6 engine, coupled with its three electric motors and lithium-ion battery pack, sounds awfully sweet at full song. The automaker is promising to release its new NSX in 2015, which is still quite a ways away, so we don't expect this exhibition lap to be the last time we see a prototype in action ahead of a production debut.

Acura TLX's early sales results look promising
Tue, 14 Oct 2014Acura made a bold move earlier this year when it decided to axe two fairly popular models in the TL and TSX and replaced them with a single sedan: the TLX. After all, how often have you seen modern automakers consolidating vehicles in the lineup? But early indications have shown that the gamble might have paid off, at least so far, because the TLX has been outselling its predecessors for its first months on sale.
Acura has only released TLX sales numbers so far for August and September, but the results have been promising. In August, the company moved 2,286 of the new sedans, beating last year's figures for the same month from both the TL at 2,227 sold and the TSX at 1,755. Then in September, the newcomer did even better with 3,884 units leaving dealers to surpass the two previous vehicles combined from their 2013 monthly stats.
According to The Truth About Cars, the TLX's September numbers were even more impressive when looking even deeper into Acura sales history. It claims that you would have to go back to March 2011 when the TL sold 3,995 units to have seen it beat the new TLX. And the TSX hasn't surpassed the latest model's figure since December 2010.
Airbag recall widens to include BMW, Chrysler, Ford and Toyota
Mon, 23 Jun 2014The recall of faulty airbag inflators supplied by Takata has exploded today to grow to seven automakers. In most cases, only models in certain high-humidity regions were affected because the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration found in its investigation that moisture played a roll in determining whether there would be a problem. However, some companies opted for national campaigns. The exact number of affected models for these campaigns isn't yet known at this time.
BMW is recalling an undisclosed number of 325i, 325Xi, 330i and 330Xi models from the 2001 through 2005 model years and the 2001-2006 model year versions of the 325Ci and 330Ci for the driver side and passenger side inflators. Only vehicles currently registered in Florida, Puerto Rico, Hawaii and the US Virgin Islands are covered under this recall.
Neither Chrysler's filing with NHTSA nor its press release list the specific models affected, but a company spokesperson told Autoblog that at this time it only covers the driver and passenger side inflators for the 2006 Dodge Charger in Florida, Puerto Rico, Hawaii and the US Virgin Islands
