I purchased this car with intent to restore it. When I got it home and looked under the vehicle, I noticed lots of frame rust, and noticed that the driver side frame was rotted through entirely. The passenger side also looks very close to the frame rotting through also In front the rear wheels where the body meets the frame, it also appears to have major rot and rust. The floor board seems to have rotted through along with the area where the spare tire sits. At that point I decided this project has exceeded my level of knowledge to restore vehicle in this condition. The vehicle is not safe to drive in this condition. Another reason I decided to sell was the the fact that it has a lost title and does not run at this time. I also do not have any last registration documents for this vehicle. The previous owner explained the vehicle was running approximately five years ago and the mileage is accurate. The car was sitting in a field next to a barn for many years. I have nothing to confirm this information. The canvas top is completely gone I personally do not know if this car is restorer-able. If I were to keep the vehicle, I would use it as a great parts car to keep another Alfa up and running. But, maybe someone else could find some use with this car. Get lost in Evo's sublime 2013 Car of the Year testing
Fri, 08 Nov 2013Every year Evo stages its Car of the Year test, bringing the best performance cars in the world to one location for an epic shootout. This year the magazine pitted eight CotY finalists against each other on Route Napoleon in Southern France - Evo claims it's the "best road in the world" - and then proceeded to nitpick the smallest of faults on each car until the winner could be named. You see, this year's lineup of machines was just so good that only one car obviously wasn't CotY material from the get-go. Can you guess which one judging from the list below?

Fri, 26 Sep 2014We love Motor Trend's annual World's Greatest Drag Race video. Now back for its fourth appearance, the idea of lining some of the world's fastest cars up for a ten-wide, straight-line, full-throttle run is, well... it's pretty freaking badass.
The lineup this year boasts some impressively fast cars to be sure. The group of ten includes the following darlings: Alfa Romeo 4C, BMW i8, BMW M4, Chevrolet Camaro Z/28, Ford Fiesta ST, Jaguar F-Type R Coupe, Nissan GT-R Nismo, Porsche 911 Turbo S, Subaru WRX STI and, last but not least, the Volkswagen GTI. Give us any one of those for the weekend, and we're happy to take the keys.
It must be said though, that for a publication that draws as much water as Motor Trend does, there are some big cars that we might expect to be here instead. The Lamborghini Huracán or Ferrari 458 Speciale would have added some exotic flare to the list, and the omissions of the Chevy Corvette Stingray (for the second year in a row) and the Dodge Challenger Hellcat are real head-scratchers.
Just 45% of Fiat dealers are profitable, and they're angry about it

On average, Fiat dealers have only been selling about 17 cars a month.
We've been wondering for some time how Fiat dealers in North America have been getting along with just one model range in their showrooms up until recently. Franchisees spent millions building, stocking and manning sleek new 'studio' showrooms, only to have but a single model to sell, the cherubic 500. And even with its many derivatives, the Cinquecento is still an inexpensive model with its attendant lower margins. Perhaps it should come as no surprise then, that just 45 percent of US Fiat dealers are said to be profitable.
