Very rare 1993 Alfa Romeo Veloce Spider with matching hardtop. Car has only 48K miles. Car starts and runs well . Title is clean and clear. No rust that I could see. Soft top in great shape. A lot of recent work done, including new tires, brakes, battery and alternator, rebuilt instrument cluster (all gauges work). Fluids were recently changed. Several body panels have been recently painted (including hardtop). Interior is in mint condition, as the pictures show. Dashboard is great, no cracks and hardly faded. Exterior is also in great condition. Few exterior scuffs here and there (for panels that were not recently painted). Some weather sills may need attention. Wheels are in good shape. AC blows air but not cold. I have not looked into it.
Overall, this is a great little car, low miles, very appropriate for its age, and recent work done. Nice package with the hardtop.
Of course, it is a 20-year old Italian car, so there will be things that do not work. I cannot confirm that every little switch and function works. But it is common for such older exotic Italian cars.
Thus, selling AS IS, no warranty. Buyers are encouraged to inspect the car in person.
As a car collector, I always welcome trades.

Mazda and Fiat finalize deal for Alfa roadster, next-gen MX-5 Miata
Fri, 18 Jan 2013Although a little bit later than expected, Mazda and Fiat have signed a final agreement that will bring a next-generation MX-5 Miata to the Japanese automaker and a new roadster to Alfa Romeo. When the proposed arrangement was announced back in May, the two automakers had hoped to seal the deal last year, but it doesn't appear that the production timeline for these cars has slipped any, with both expected to start rolling off assembly lines in 2015.
Other than a shared chassis with a rear-wheel-drive layout, it sounds like the two cars are still planned to be distinct in their own ways from their styling right down to their engines. Mazda will produce both cars at a plant in Hiroshima, Japan, but it isn't clear what role each automaker will play in the cars' developmental process. The big question, of course, is what clever portmanteau name we can come up with, like Toyobaru. Mazda Romeo is the easy choice, but Alfazda might roll off the tongue a little better.
Scroll down for a brief press release from both automakers.
CEO says Volkswagen's buying spree is over
Mon, 03 Sep 2012
After adding Italian motorcycle icon Ducati to its stable and spending $5.6 billion on the rest of Porsche, Volkswagen CEO Martin Winterkorn says he's done shopping for a while.
"We have enough to do at the moment in taking our twelve brands to where we want to be," Winterkorn tells German newspaper Handelsblatt.
Next-gen Mazda MX-5 Miata mule spied 'Ring testing
Wed, 23 Oct 2013Fans of simple, lightweight motoring, rejoice - we now have images of the next-generation Mazda MX-5 Miata undergoing testing at der Nürburgring Nordschleife. Now, to be fair, this isn't some lightly camouflaged example that will give us a great peak of what the next Miata, which will also become the next Alfa Romeo Spider, will look like. This is a mule, with the new bits hidden under a current Miata's body. That doesn't mean there aren't a few scraps of valuable information here, though.
According to our flock of camera-toting spies at the Nürburgring, the next Miata is likely to grow a bit, as new models are wont to do. In particular, it will be longer and wider, and the wheelbase is likely going to be stretched, based on the shape of the wheel wells and doors. Both of those factors will add more space in the cabin.
Those are the big indications provided by these photos, but while the MX-5 might be growing, it's a safe bet based on these images that it, and the (likely pricier) Alfa, will retain the classic, long-hood, short-deck styling that so typifies rear-drive roadsters.
