I purchased this car with 17k miles on it from the original owner. The car has been driven approx. 7k miles per year since its manufacture date. I have had all service done at Sunset Audi. New brakes and rotors were installed at approx. 20k miles due to some rotor warping. New tires were purchased at approx. 25k miles and they currently have approx. 60% tread life remaining. I have the original window sticker, all original keys, and original manuals. No wrecks, paintwork or prior damage of any type. I am a very picky auto enthusiast, so rest assured this is one of the nicest RS4s available. The only exceptions to perfect are a small scuff on the front lower valance where it scraped a curb and some minor rash on 2 of the 4 wheels. I have not had these repaired as I prefer to keep it as original as possible. The car is mechanically perfect, the car drives perfect and as new. The overall condition is as good as it gets for a 2008 vehicle. Full professional detail included.
Naturally aspirated super sedans are no longer being produced, which is a shame. The sound of the engine alone will make grown men weep. I wish I could keep it, as it is the best car I have ever owned. However, personal circumstances require I get a larger vehicle. I will be very sad to see it go. Email if you would like more photos. 2014 Audi R8 officially on sale, starting at $114,900*
Fri, 12 Apr 2013After skipping the 2013 model year, the Audi R8 is back for 2014 with a new look, added performance and a slightly higher starting price. In V8 coupe form, the 2014 R8 starts at $114,900 (*not including $1,250 for destination and a $3,000 gas-guzzler tax), but looking at that price, which has risen just $5,900 since the performance coupe first debuted in the US for 2008, inflation doesn't seem to have hit the R8 as hard as some other sports coupes - like, say, the Nissan GT-R.
Opting for the S tronic automatic gearbox will cost $9,100 for all models, while R8 V8 and R8 V10 models still offer the drop-top Spyder model for an extra $13,500. Audi to blitz 1.5M sales goal two years ahead of schedule
Thu, 25 Jul 2013Audi doesn't seem to be having any trouble of hitting its relatively audacious sales goal of two million units by 2020 - it's already on pace to eclipse 1.5 million sales two years ahead of schedule. According to Reuters, the Volkswagen-owned brand rode a wave of sales in China and the US to pace the early goal, with 780,500 deliveries at the halfway point of 2013. Particularly hot models include the Q5 crossover seen above and A4 sedan. Unless things go poorly in the second half of the year, 1.5 million sales shouldn't be an issue.
That leaves it trailing BMW by just 24,000 units for the global luxury sales crown. If sales trends keep up, Audi will succeed in hitting its goal of two million units and besting its cross-country rival in Munich. Audi CEO Rupert Stadler smells blood, telling German newspaper Handelsblatt, ''We have overtaken Mercedes-Benz and we are now closer to BMW than ever before."
