Hello and thank you for looking at my beautiful and well-maintained Audi RS6. Year-round, this RS6 is a blast to drive. In winter, with snow tires, it's virtually unstoppable. I'm selling it because I recently relocated from New Jersey to Colorado and now want something I can take off-road. Mechanically, the car is in top condition and has no issues at all. Very recently - under 100 miles ago - she was fully serviced including a tune-up and timing belt replacement. Nothing more will be needed for quite a while. Cosmetically, the car is excellent. The Avus Silver exterior has only some minor chips on the front bumper that have been touched up. The cream-colored leather interior also is in very good condition with no odors, stains or tears (although the mesh pouch behind driver's seat has a tear). The 255/40 18" Continental tires are in very good shape. The wheels recently were refinished and are in excellent condition except for the left front which has light curb rash. Audi recalls 2013-2014 S6 and S7 models over fuel line leak
Mon, 28 Oct 2013If you've been driving a late model Audi S6 or S7, first of all, good for you. Secondly, you should be expecting a call from your local dealer as the Volkswagen Group and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration have issued a recall.
The problem apparently involves a potential leak in the fuel line, which, as any mechanic or McGuyver fan could tell you, is not such a good thing. As NHTSA points out, it "may result in a fire."
The recall involves 3,594 vehicles in these United States, specifically model-year 2013 and 2014 Audi S6 and S7 models equipped with the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8. (It does not, however, seem to affect the S8 or any of the Bentleys that are powered by the same engine.) Owners of said cars can expect to be contacted regarding how the problem will be fixed. For instance, IllicitEncounters.com - a UK dating site for married folks (also known as adultery) - is reporting that a recent poll shows that more people willing to cheat on their spouses drive an Audi. Last year, this same poll showed that BMW was the car-of-choice for adulterers.

Audi SQ7 coming, will have electric turbo
Sun, 27 Jul 2014Formula 1 and endurance racing are already harvesting energy from turbos on the track, and now it's apparently time for a similar idea of boosting the efficiency of forced induction to hit the streets in a high-performance, diesel SUV.
In a recent interview with the UK's Autocar, Audi technical boss Dr. Ulrich Hackenberg let the big news slip. "The new Q7 will be available in the market next year but the electric turbo will come a bit later in the Audi SQ7 available in 2016," he said. The e-turbo system was already rumored for the premium SUV but for the standard model, not this just-announced performance version.
Audi has been experimenting with the e-turbo system for a little while, as an electrically driven supercharger. It showed up on the RS5 TDI concept that used a 3.0-liter, twin-turbocharged diesel V6 plus the electric system to diminish turbo lag. In that application, it provided an impressive 385 horsepower and 553 pound-feet of torque and an alleged sprint to 62 miles per hour in 4 seconds. Although, Dr. Hackenberg didn't make it clear if this was the exact layout for the SQ7.
