Ladies and Gentlemen, up for sale is a very clean and fully loaded 2000 Audi S4 Quattro. Equipped with a 6 cylinder twin turbo engine, 6 speed manual transmission and all wheel drive. No accidents, ever; clean title. This car comes fully loaded with everything you might possibly need. Black on black leather with Nogaru blue seat inserts, catless exhaust system (yes, the check engine light is on because there are no cats), boost gauge and Tein springs. Drives great. Exterior is flawless, except for rear left bumper cover ( some scratches).Everything works. Transmission and engine are smooth. Clutch grabs and pulls HARD. Very good tires, Continentals, new brakes in the rear along with one new brake caliper. Brand new clutch, oil change, 02 sensor and a few other things. Missing rear trunk liner/cover. Heat/AC are great. Gets through snow easily. Monster of a car! Tinted windows. Blacked out rims. Fast, reliable, runs strong, shifts smooth and pulls really hard. Clean reliable daily driver. These cars are known to be strong performers. Throw a tune in it ($300) and get an extra 80 HP and 90 LB-TQ (no joke). Very spacious and comfortable car. VW confirms development of 10-speed dual clutch, 134-hp/liter diesel
Fri, 26 Apr 2013Each year, the Vienna International Motor Symposium showcases some of the up-and-coming technologies automakers are engineering for the use in passenger cars, and Volkswagen AG CEO Martin Winterkorn revealed some big developments VW is working on for its future products. Winterkorn discussed a multi-faceted approach that VW is looking to reduce its fleet fuel consumption and exhaust emissions.
Some of the bigger news he discussed included a "high-performance" diesel engine that will produce 134 horsepower per liter and a 10-speed DSG automatic transmission. While no specific applications were mentioned, we can only hope this is for the Audi R4 we keep hearing about.
Another topic he touched on that caused us to perk up our ears was had to do with VW's plug-in hybrid technology. While we know the PHEV versions of the Audi A3 and Porsche Panamera are on the way, Winterkorn also said that these two models will be followed up by Golf, Passat, Audi A6 and Porsche Cayenne plug-in models. Audi A1 now testing after S1 Geneva debut
Sun, 16 Mar 2014Audi showed of its new S1 hot hatch to the public at the Geneva Motor Show last week, but the Four Ringed brand isn't done tweaking the smallest member of its lineup. Here are spy shots of an upcoming refresh of the standard A1.
The camouflaged model on display here appears to be the three-door model. From what we can discern, it seems the A1 is going to look a lot more like the S1 after the revisions. The headlights and taillights are more like the new performance model than the current standard car. Unlike the S model, the facelifted version has a different front bumper with reshaped foglights and a slightly altered design.
A release date for the refresh hasn't been announced yet, but regardless it probably won't be coming here. Audi is already aiming the A3 at young, American buyers. The little A1 just doesn't fit with that strategy.
Next Audi TT glimpsed, same as it ever was?
Fri, 28 Feb 2014Audi has teased the new TT coupe ahead of its Geneva Motor Show reveal with renderings and video, but now, what appears to be a photo of the new two-door has leaked onto the web, courtesy of Autofans.be. And if you're thinking, "Well, jeez, that looks familiar," you definitely aren't alone. Aside from the new lighting character in the taillamps, everything you see here looks pretty much unchanged from the old car. Of course, the front should get a nice freshening, and that interior should be super-high-tech. We'll reserve final judgments until we see the new TT live in Geneva next week.
