 2004 Audi S4  4.2L 340HP V8 with 6 Speed. No Reserve

This car runs well, the 6 speed shifts very smooth. The 4.2L puts out all the power you would ever need.
I will try and tell you as much about the car as I can. If you have questions please send me an Email.
This car is listed local and I could end the auction at any time for the right offer.

The leather seats are is great condition. Both are power heated seats.
All power options, windows, locks, sunroof ect.
The 18 inch wheels make this car look and ride very well.
Audi has a great sound system witch has a 6 disc CD in dash changer.
The body is in good condition, I would say better than average for the year. There are a few places the clean coat is starting to come off
most around the rear spoiler. There is a scratch on the lower right side of the car, See the pics.
This S4 is clean inside and out!  Hit the road n style. It WILL turn heads were ever you go.

Items that have been replaced in the last 6 months include:
New tires and wheels, all match.
New brakes all the way around.
New battery.
I tell you this so you will know this a car you can buy and not have to worry about repair items.
I would take this car anyplace.

Items of concern:
When I changed the battery the airbag light came on and stays on. It might just need to be reset, I'm not sure.
The AC was working about a month ago, now will not blow cold air, I think it just needs some freon.

If you are local, please feel free to take it for a test drive.
This car is not a daily driver for me.

Malaise Era All-Stars

Fri, 17 May 2013

A few weeks ago, we bid a fond happy 40th anniversary to the automotive dark ages of 1973-84 that have come to be known as "The Malaise Era" - the performance ice-age when 160 horsepower was a lot and a 0-60 time of under 10 seconds was remarkable. Like music in the 1980s, everything in automobiledom didn't suck, however. There were a few bright spots. Here are five of our favorites:

Audi to unveil S1 hot hatch at Geneva Motor Show

Tue, 21 Jan 2014

Audi has been toying with the idea of a hot hatch based on the A1 premium city car for some time now. It rolled out the 500-horsepower A1 Clubsport Quattro concept at the Wörthersee gathering a couple of years ago, then put its form (with half the power) into limited production with the 252hp A1 Quattro (pictured above) shortly thereafter. What it hasn't done is offer a mainstream S1 that people can actually get their hands on, but that's all about to change.
Following spy shots of numerous prototypes, Auto Express claims to have it on good authority that the new S1 will be unveiled at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show in March. Though likely less aggressive in its visual impact, the S1 is expected to get almost as much power as the aforementioned A1 Quattro, with a 2.0-liter turbo 4-cylinder sourced from the larger S3 but detuned to 230 hp.
A six-speed dual-clutch transmission is expected to drive all four wheels - something for which the platform was not originally designed but was later adapted to accommodate - though the availability of a six-speed manual remains in question. Unfortunately the A1 was never destined for the North American market, so as much as we might want one (and as much as Ingolstadt may be motivated to take a bite out of the Mini market), we wouldn't expect to see it roaring into American showrooms.

Nine-time Le Mans winner Tom Kristensen to retire

Wed, 19 Nov 2014

Le Mans icon Tom Kristensen is retiring. The Danish driver, who was an integral part of Audi's absolute dominance at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, captured a record-breaking nine wins at the legendary endurance race, along with six overall victories at the 12 Hours of Sebring in a career that spanned 26 years.
"Over the past couple of months, my thoughts of retiring have been stronger, and therefore, it feels right to inform you today that I am retiring from motor racing," Kristensen told Autosport. "I still feel I am in peak physical form and possess the necessary mental toughness both in and outside of the car: it has been important for me to stop while I am still strong and able to deliver top performances at Audi."
While the World Endurance Championship's season-ending race at Interlagos on November 30 will be Kristensen's last as a driver, it won't be the end of his long-running association with Audi. According to Autosport, TK will take on a new role as an ambassador for the German marque and will work with team's drivers in an unspecified role.
