i have a 2011 1 series m that im putting up for sale. this car has a salvage title and was rebuilt, i have all the paper work that was done. there was 3,000 worth of parts to the cause of the accident which was the reason for declared salvage. There are absolutely no problems with this car it runs like new with a lot of power!! i have this car in for the winter i will not be driving it at all just making it nice. The car will come with carbon fiber rear spoiler, carbon fiber front grill, CF mirror covers and inside trim was all done CF. this car is a beauty . BMW: i8 sold out, i3 records 10k orders
Mon, 25 Nov 2013Just in case anyone was wondering how plug-in BMW cars would be received, the answer is apparently "quite well." After speaking with BMW's global sales chief last week at the LA Auto Show, Reuters has learned that the plug-in hybrid i8 sports coupe is already sold out for its first year on the market.
There is no word as to how many i8s BMW sold, but the first example was delivered to a customer last week in Germany. As for the all-electric/range-extended i3 hatchback, the automaker has received more than 10,000 orders for this model before it even goes on sale. Likewise, we don't know how many BMW plans to sell, but we do know they'll be showing up in the US before next summer.

This BMW 2 Series ad has run afoul of Aussie ad watchdogs [w/poll]
Tue, 29 Apr 2014A complaint by an Australian movie-goer has put the brakes on an extended in-theater ad campaign by BMW, and drawn the attention of the country's Advertising Standards Board. According to the anonymous complaint, the ad "portrays an unfavorable message, contrary to safe and sensible driving."
The ASB upheld the complaint, which said the ad for the new M235i showed driving "typical of hoon activity," thanks to the burnouts, dusty drifts and runs up to redline. It's that last one that seems to have gotten the spot in the most trouble, with the ASB acknowledging that even though the car wasn't shown breaking the speed limit, the ad was in violation of a voluntary code of conduct for automotive advertising, according to Australia's Go Auto.
BMW doesn't seem to agree, pointing out that the ad uses creative editing, aggressive camera angles and other filming tricks to "add visual impact."
