Portland, Oregon, United States

I have a Mallaga 1976 BMW 2002. I'm the second owner, originally was a Arizona car. Absolutely no rust. Perfect straight body. Original color but not original paint. Paint is pretty much perfect all the way around.

Unknown mileage exactly. Original owner didn't have it as a daily driver so there's suspected to be only 70,000 miles on the original motor. Head was rebuilt by myself. I've put about 6,000 miles on it since. The car has been well taken care of. The tach works but the mileage isn't recording.

M10.
292 Shrick Cam.
S14 Starter.
38 Weber Carb w/3 inch Air filter.
Stahl Headers.
Electronic Ignition.
Korman Autoworks Radiator (30% larger cooling capacity for racing).
Engine fan removed. Automatic electric fan placed in front of radiator.
Ireland Engineering Silicone Hose set.
Racetep battery relocation kit (battery in trunk with cut-off switch).
3.91 Limited Slip differential, new halfshafts/CV boots
Billstein Sport Shocks.
Stage 2 IE sport springs.
Korman Stainless front Strut Brace.
4-speed.

Interior is flawless.
BMW Floor mats, I also the have original it came with.
Nardi Steering Wheel.
Tii look center console with working gauges.
Entire sound system: Four Focals, two amps, Kenwood deck, subwoofer (Over $1,000 in sound), wireless bluetooth.
Wheel Spacers/longer lug nuts for larger wheel addition
Wheels I got from IE (Ireland engineering). 15x8 OG Oldschool- Machine Face with Black Accents and Machine Polished Lip.
Spare tire well was cut out and replaced with thin sheet of steel.
New rear taillights.
Front Hella Racing lights.

Going for 2002 turbo look. Fenders are cut and tach welded properly. These are original 2002 flares with rubber trim. I have an original turbo air-dam just haven't put it on. I also have the back bumper as well. And I still have the straight magnaflow exhaust I was going to centralize in the back.

Brakes and clutch are stock but have been entirely replaced. I do all my own work but had all of that done by Pacific Motorsports in Portland. Have paperwork.

Oil is changed often. I have done it seven times on the new rebuild.

Everything is mechanically sound and everything electronic works as well (headlights, blinkers, taillights, radio, etc.

I also have THOUSANDS of dollars in original parts. Original intakes, air filter system, subframes, hubs, mats, fans, everything you could think of PLUS some.

2014 BMW 320i

Tue, 24 Dec 2013

When BMW switched its entry level 3 Series, the 328i, from a naturally aspirated, 3.0-liter six-cylinder to a turbocharged, 2.0-liter four-cylinder, we weren't entirely sure what to think. Sure, from a pure numbers perspective, the new 2.0-liter cooked the old 3.0's goose, delivering more torque at far more accessible engine speeds while boosting horsepower and fuel economy.
While we miss that revvy six-pot, the numbers for the 2.0 were just way too good to pass up. Then we received news of an even less-powerful 2.0-liter 3 Series - the 320i. This was interesting, as it saw BMW delving into a power level previously owned solely by the anemic Lexus IS 250 and its six-cylinder engine.
Could BMW make a sub-200-horsepower sedan that still drove the way we expected a 3 Series to drive? To find out, we borrowed the new 320i for a week of testing.

European car sales up 8% in February

Sat, 22 Mar 2014

Three weeks ago an analyst increased projections for European car sales this year, expecting them to climb three percent compared to last year instead of 2.7 percent. That number is a postive sign after years of hard times but it turns out February was especially good, overall European sales climbing eight percent on a wave of southern European recovery and discounts - and this comes after five months of gains including January's 7.2-percent jump over the year before.
The only country of Europe's five largest markets to post a decline was France, just as it did in January, Germany, the UK and Italy posting solid double-digit numbers, Spain rocking the charts with an 18-percent increase because of a government program to encourage trade-ins.
The only brand to miss the wave was Volkswagen, dropping 0.8 percent as it watched the double-digit growth at sister brands Audi, Seat and Skoda lift the Volkswagen Group sales up by seven-percent. Peugeot overcame flat sales at Citroën to improve the group by 3.5 percent, BMW and the Mercedes-Benz/Smart combo rose by four percent, the Fiat group jumped 5.8 percent, Ford was up 11 percent, the Renault Group 11.5 percent, General Motors 12 percent and the Toyota clan by 14 percent.

BMW and Mini shuffle NA management, McDowell to retire

Wed, 04 Dec 2013

BMW and Mini recently shuffled top personnel in their design departments, and now BMW of North America will reorganize its management to improve customer relations. Peter Miles (pictured), currently the executive vice president of operations, will take a newly created position, vice president of sales channel development and customer relations, while Jim McDowell, vice president of Mini of the Americas, will retire.
Chris Koenders, president of BMW Group Netherlands, will move take Miles' spot as executive vice president of operations. David Duncan, western region vice president, will take McDowell's job as vice president of Mini of the Americas. Finishing off the management switcharoo is Peter Witt, who will move from his current position as Managing Director of BMW Sweden to take Duncan's job as western region vice president.
"We are intensifying our customer-driven focus and these changes will influence the entire organization to continue improving all phases of the customer journey from prospect to purchase and throughout the ownership cycle," says Ludwig Willisch, president and CEO of BMW NA.
