I'm selling a used 1999 BMW 323ic convertible.  Ok, as you can see i have been a Ebayer since 1999 and i have a perfect rating.  I have never sold a car before on Ebay here...so, I will try to be as detailed as possible.

- I'm not the original owner...i bought from a coworker of mine last year.  It had problems even as i bought it from him...my initial plan was to fix it up, but i don't have the time or the know-how to do it.  I think this car is a great potential project.  Ok...let me start off by saying...this car DRIVES nicely...yes...even today...it will start and go no problem.  I still use this car to go to work at least once a week.

So, let me list the mechanical and cosmetic issues below (I'm going to be as honest and as thorough as i can... but I can't guarantee all issues are listed...just because you may find more or i may miss them...but I'm going to be up front and honest)

Issues First
- Soft Top does not work...don't know what's wrong with it (maybe the motor...maybe the sensors)...My original plan was to permanently lower it and only use it on sunny days...it's a good looking car.
- Soft Top externally in decent shape...  But interior needs some love...some of the mechanics are showing--especially on the sides...it holds up fine...but aesthetically not great looking on the inside.  The top seals good enough where light rain wouldn't be an issue...but pouring rain or prolonged rain situation would get you some wet inside.
- One side of the external trim is missing (see exterior pic)
- Air Bag light is on...not sure the issue
- Check Engine Light just recently turned on last week.   I think it's a sensor or something...(possible culprit...i noticed the rubber hose connecting the Air filter to the engine has a crack...maybe losing some pressures)  The engine drives/sounds as usual -- no problems while driving...still strong/responsive...and no weird sounds.   And a few months ago it recently went to the shop...and the Mechanic said your Engine is great.
- Radio works...but i think amplifier doesn't work...so no sound.
- Overall interior's gonna need a lot of love...the inside door handles' frames are off...as you can see in the pictures...There are rust on seat rails under the seats.  Carpet needs deep cleaning too.  Basically, little things here and there...door panels need to button up better, etc.  it depends how "pretty" you want the inside to look will dictate the amount of fixing.
- Cracked rubber seals around trunk...interior again.
- The Stick Shift knob should be replaced...loose (the good thing is...it's loose and when you want to replace...you don't have to struggle to pull the knob off...just buy one and pop in in -- you can find one for less than $20 on Ebay)

Good
- All powered windows...work no issue (surprisingly)
- Overall Drives very nicely...get-up-go-speed!  The Manual transmission really spices thing up a bit.
- Car paint job...in my opinion...AWESOME...  you can see in the pictures...for a car that's going on 14 years...paint is unbelievable
- I think A/C works fine...heats up and cools down
- No cracks on any windows or windshield
- I believe i have a clean title...(I just got it titled to me...and DMV gave me no issues...quick)
- Trunk is fairly clean...got some rust spots on the carpet in truck...and needs to "bottom up" better...but in fairly good shape (with spare tire and etc)
- Power rear view mirrors work fine
- Power locks work fine
- Seat Belts, wipers work fine.
- Seats don't have tears that i can see

Other Info
- Only 1 key...

SHIPPING
- Buyer is responsible for all transportation/shipping cost.  I hope you can come pick up...that way...it will save you money that you can put into fixing this car...  If you decide to ship...i can help you find a shipper...i recently shipped two cars (one to the dealer and the other from the dealer for a new car that i bought)...so, i have a very good relationship with a shipper.

ALL Sales Final...and Sold As Is
- I know there's a degree of risk buying a used car without inspecting it yourself...but know that you can ask me any questions...and I'll do my best to respond to you.  I have never received a bad rating off Ebay...and i intend to keep it that way.  It drives great (in my opinion)...but interior aesthetically needs love.
I sincerely believe there's a lot miles left in this car...and it deserves someone who's willing to spend time/heart to restore it as much as possible.  I'm definitely not out to make any money...hence, i list this car without any reserve price...and at this price point...after all the Ebay fees...i won't have much leftover...but I just want this car to go to a good home.

thanks...and pls only serious buyer only

BMW i3 to start at $41,350*

Mon, 22 Jul 2013

With a week to go before the global debut of the BMW i3, BMW has announced pricing for its first-ever production electric vehicle. The all-electric version of the i3 goes on sale in the second quarter of next year with a starting price of $41,350 (*not including $925 for destination nor any applicable government tax credits).
Some of the pricing elements for the i3 that BMW continues to withhold are the cost of the model using a gasoline motorcycle engine as a range-extending generator, or that of the DC Fast Charge option. This latter feature will allow the i3's depleted lithium-ion battery pack to get an 80 percent charge in just 20 minutes; for comparison's sake, the DC quick charge feature is a $750 option on the 2014 Chevy Spark EV.
Sure, we've already driven the BMW i3, but the production version of the BMW EV - promising the interior space of a BMW 3 Series - will be unveiled next week at simultaneous ceremonies in New York, London and Beijing. Scroll down for BMW's brief press blast regarding its upcoming i3.

BMW 1 Series sedan interior revealed

Sun, 09 Nov 2014

The next BMW 1 Series Sedan has made another appearance following our last peek at it in September, and this time, the gallery of images even reveals part of the new car's interior.
Of course, if these images prove anything, it's that manufacturers take camouflage of the interior just as seriously as they do the exterior. We can see in these images a fairly simple cabin, with what looks like a fixed central display. It's quite small, although the housing itself is rather large, so we could be looking at a more basic form of iDrive rather than the full-featured set. Overall, though, this cabin more or less confirms that the 1 Series Sedan will fit in with the rest of the BMW family quite nicely.
Outside of the interior images, though, there isn't a lot of new stuff revealed by these images. As for when we'll see both the interior and exterior fully undisguised, our spies continue pointing to a 2016 debut with a 2017 on-sale date.

BMW raises pricing on many models

Wed, 02 Oct 2013

Buyers interested in a new BMW will start paying a bit more for their Ultimate Driving Machines, beginning yesterday. The Munich, Germany-based manufacturer has announced price hikes across nearly its entire range, covering model years 2013 and 2014, that will sting higher-end customers in particular.
Price increases are enough to get any consumer riled up, but the incremental nature of BMW's increase makes it a bit easier to swallow. All 1 Series and remaining 3 Series Convertibles (including the M3 Convertible) will see a $300 increase in price. All current-generation F30 3 Series, 5 Series GT and X3 crossovers will get their price bumped by $200. $500 increases are coming for the 6 Series range (not including the M6), while the diminutive X1 gets just a $100 increase.
Cars on the losing end of the price hikes include the newest M cars, the M5 and M6 Coupe, Convertible and Gran Coupe, which are being bumped $2,000. BMW is adding $1,000 to the sticker of all Z4s and the entire X6 range, including the X6M.
