True Classic Car!!! This car has only 98,267 Original Miles, 2nd Owner, Kameleon Custom Paint including door jams, trunk, & motor compartment. Absolutely no body damage on this vehicle. Painted only because original Schwarz black paint had been polished so much over the years it needed paint on it. Every time I drove it, I always wanted to polish it so I changed the color. I personally painted this car myself, I am a professional of 33 years and have owned this vehicle since 12/13/1997. It is my baby and only drive it on nice days, never in the rain unless I get caught out in it, and garage kept. I painted it about 8 years ago and is in excellent condition. Interior is in excellent condition except slight wear on drivers seat where you get in and out. Top is in excellent shape, I replaced at the same time as painting with BMW original equipment. Custom 17" Alba Alloy wheels with low profile Falken tires with excellent tread. I also have the original wheels and original stereo if you want them. It has a aftermarket Kenwood stereo with cassette with a 10 cd changer in the trunk along with a bazooka bass and small amp. It has the tool kit in the trunk and still has all the original tools in it, and has never been used. This vehicle has always been adult driven, Inline 6, 5 speed manual. Timing belt was done at 50k and needs to be done at 100k. Glass is good, headlights are not chipped, metal bumpers are in excellent condition, all moldings and rubber around windows are excellent.
The negatives on this vehicle - the tires seem to have flat spots from not driving enough but will smooth out after driving a few miles. A/C will hold a charge for a season but I haven't charged because I only drive with the top down in nice weather. There is also slight wear in material on top of the shifter handle. Every once in a while, slight smell of coolant (possibly heater core) but no evidence - just smell.
Pictures doesn't do the Kameleon paint any justice but predominate colors are green to purple and in between colors, more noticeable at low sun are blue, copper, maroon, and gold/chartreuse. At a distance it can look black. This vehicle is very classy and sporty, and I don't see anyone having one any nicer than this one - it turns heads everywhere you go so if you don't like people looking at you or talking to people then this isn't the vehicle for you. I have it insured through Grundy Collector Vehicle Insurance for 15k. I have the original listing taken off the window from BMW to Village BMW in Chattanooga, TN showing all the features and the total suggested retail price new was $34,340.00.
I do my best to describe the vehicle as accurately as possible and list everything I can think of. If you have ANY questions, please do not hesitate to call me at 404-886-9108 or if you want to come check it out. I can also send more pictures if you need them.
This vehicle is for sale locally and seller reserves the right to end auction early due to local sale.

BMW bringing 9 Series concept to Beijing
Tue, 08 Apr 2014It appears that BMW is ready to take another step upmarket with a new concept flagship luxury sedan at the Beijing Motor Show at the end of April. The showcar is said to preview the company's rumored 9 Series, a sedan that would be positioned against top trims of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, like the rumored S600 Maybach.
According to Automotive News Europe, the concept sedan wears styling language adapted from the curvaceous BMW Pininfarina Gran Lusso Coupe (pictured above) shown at the 2013 Villa d'Este Concours d'Elegance in May. It rides on BMW's new, modular platform - codenamed G11 - for the company's largest cars, an architecture also expected to be shared with the next 7 Series and future Rolls-Royce vehicles. It's rumored to bring the weight of the 7 closer to the 5 Series, which would be several hundred pounds lighter when comparing the base models of both current vehicles. We spotted the next-gen 7 Series testing over a year ago, and both it and the 9 Series are expected to go on sale in 2016.
Unfortunately, at the moment there is no official information about the concept. "We don't have any official news yet on anything in Beijing," Julian Arguelles, BMW USA spokesperson, tells Autoblog. However, it's heartening to think that BMW might be adapting the gorgeous shape of the Gran Lusso for production.
Drifting can be dangerous for spectators, too
Fri, 02 May 2014Okay kids, here's your lesson for the day. When you go to a motorsports event (that isn't a rally), there are these things called walls. They're big and hard. There might be stacks of tires in front of them. There are also these things called barriers, catch fences and run-off areas. They exist to protect you, the spectator, when something inevitably goes wrong on the track.
If you don't have these things, you probably shouldn't be watching whatever four-wheeled mayhem is taking place. This gentleman learned that the hard way, after getting a bit too close while some hoon drifts his BMW 3 Series.
Scroll down for the video, and be warned, while there isn't any blood that we can see, some viewers might find the sight of a human getting punted by a BMW disturbing.
Hamann BMW M6 Mirror can now cash the checks its body writes
Wed, 05 Mar 2014Anyone remember the Hamann Mirror? Need a refresher? The Mirror is German tuning company Hamann's idea of a BMW M6. It was shown at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show as an M6 Gran Coupe, sporting a ridiculous paint job and some meaty, multi-spoke 21-inch wheels.
Consider this car the Mirror Mark 2. Based on the M6 Coupe, Hamann has applied a similar visual theme, using the same 21-inch wheels from 2013. Whereas the Gran Coupe rode around with a stock powertrain, though, there's been no such restraint with the two-door Mirror. A fine 620 horsepower is available from the 4.4-liter, biturbocharged V8, an increase of 60 horsepower. Torque is up as well, from 501 pound-feet to a whopping 560, meaning this M6 has speed to match its looks. Hamann claims the Mirror's newfound grunt allows it to hit 62 miles per hour faster than the standard M6 (we'd certainly hope so), although it won't mention a specific number.
The suspension, meanwhile, has been dropped 1.37 inches, or about a third of an inch lower than the Frankfurt Mirror. That drop is complemented by the Mirror's bodywork, including the exposed, carbon fiber hood and the flared fenders, which can now accommodate the enormous 305/25 rear rubber. Hamann has also paid some attention to the front and rear aerodynamics.
