You are bidding on one of the best cars BMW (or any manufacturer for that matter) has ever made, the BMW 325CI. While I'm a big believer in American made vehicles, the 325i has been a consistent top ten award winner for decades for a very good reason....they are simply great, reliable cars. I bought this car earlier this year to replace my gas guzzler (which btw cut my gas bill in half) and I have driven it daily 50+ miles to and from work, reaping a consistent 28+ mpg on the highway. I am ONLY selling it because I need a four door vehicle (and yes, I am again looking to buy a BMW). I'm a stickler for nit things so I completely went through the car when I bought it, replacing wheel bearing in the rear, control arms in the front, all of the vacuum hoses (they tend to rot after ten years), tires and brakes as well as replaced several of the sensors under the hood. I also replaced the center console, door panels and other such items that didn't meet my expectations due to wear and tear showing. Everything works very well in this car, from the automatic temperature control to the stereo, wiindows, auto locks, etc. There are no sensor lights on the dash and the best part is, the car only has 87k miles on it!!! These cars go well into the 200k range so you are getting a car that will last you well into the future, that runs great, looks great and is extremely reliable.

BMW X3 spied with nip and tuck nearly complete
Fri, 18 Oct 2013With the style-driven BMW X4 coming along in development, it looks like some of the forthcoming crossover's design could trickle over to its utilitarian sibling, the X3. Captured in these spy shots, it appears that the 2015 BMW X3 is preparing for a minor facelift, and from what we can tell, the biggest change will center on the CUV's headlights.
There is plenty of camouflage on the front and rear fascias to suggest updates will occur there, too, but we can definitely tell that the X3 will be getting LED-equipped headlights - at least as an option, anyway. The halos are slightly different from the current offering and there is also an LED strip above the headlights used as turn signal indicators. Another interesting thing we notice in these pictures is the nub at the bottom of the grille (also visible in recent X4 spy shots). While this could be some sort of test sensor for this prototype, it could also be a front-mounted camera for a possible parking assist system.
We don't expect any changes to the powertrain and we're not sure what updates could be in store for the interior, but we're guessing that that the 2015 X3 will debut shortly after the X4 goes on sale next year.
Car and Driver lists 10Best for 2013, same as it ever was
Wed, 05 Dec 2012Forgive us for having the distinct feeling of déjà vu, but it certainly feels like we've been here before. By that we are referring Car and Driver and the announcement of its annual 10Best vehicles for 2013. To be sure, it's an impressive selection of cars that combine heart-pounding performance and frugal sensibilities, but it also represents something of a broken record on the part of C/D. We're not so sure that's a flaw, though, as the resulting list is tough to argue with.
Vehicles like the Ford Mustang, Porsche Boxster, and BMW 3 Series have maintained their high-horsepower spots on this list for several years now. Even on the more practical and nimble end, the Honda Accord, Honda Fit and Mazda Miata have not budged. These continued spots are even in light of redesigns for some vehicles such as the Accord, Boxster and 3 Series.
In fact, the only newcomer to the 10Best list this year are the Scion FR-S/Subaru BRZ twins, which knocked out the Cadillac CTS-V. We think it would have been a huge misstep to have excluded the FR-S/BRZ, even in light of the supercharged Caddy's lamentable departure from 10Best.
BMW M5 turns 30, celebrates sideways
Sun, 13 Apr 2014BMW has a secret, and it's not telling. The brand's M Power blog is celebrating the 30th anniversary of the M5 and is taking a look back at previous models of its Autobahn-storming sedan, but it says that it will end "with a surprise." The celebration kicks off with a short video showing the latest M5 making some smoky donuts.
The original M5 debuted in 1985 and was the company's most expensive model at the time. Still, it packed a 3.5-liter six-cylinder generating a claimed 282 horsepower (286 PS), which was rather potent in its day. The company touted it as the world's fastest production four-door sports sedan at the time.
BMW won't reveal the surprise until it has chronicled all five generations of the M5, but it wouldn't be shocking to see an anniversary edition model appear sometime later this year. Scroll down to check out the video of the muscle sedan celebrating its birthday the only way it knows how.
