Alright guys .. here's the deal. Use to be a very active member on the BMW forum, into the BMW world, etc ... and then life happened haha. Went away for school and never came back. The car now sits in a heated garage, covered and hooked up to a trickle charger. I go home every few months .. drive it around the block and then back into the garage it goes. I've finally come to let go of it after MANY years of not being able to .. it's just not fair and i want someone to enjoy her.

She is currently un-inspected as i use to have a guy that could just slap a sticker on her for $50 .. but NJ changed inspections and now i need to throw on a resonator or cat converter to get her to pass .... since she's blow with a 7psi charger ... i ran ceramic headers to a straight pipe right out ... she wants to breathe!!! Guess that won't fly anymore. I will obviously take this into consideration with the price ... but it should only be a few hundred to have the exhaust mid pipes changed up.

She's a 2001 Jet Black 330CI with every package .. premium, tech, cold weather, sport etc .... in addition to all the mods i will list below .. i still have EVERY stock part that will go with her .... trunk, hood, lights, interior, etc etc etc. This is an insane deal for a car that has been babied since day 1. She has a full custom suede interior ... full custom ICE in the trunk ... and well as a supercharged engine that you could eat off it's so clean.

Also .. she is FAST AS ****. You can ask some peeps on the forum. M3's dont even stand a chance .... i have a dyne report somewhere laying around ... serious HP to the wheels

Oh, and she also only have 44,265 miles .. barely broken in

AS YOU CAN SEE .. there is some serious work done to this car .... also, like i said before .. every stock part is included. Trunk, hood, rims & wheels, corners, tails, markers, interiors components, etc.

I know i should piece her out and make double the $$ ... but i just don't have the time. Therefore, someone else can do that and make money off this deal. Please be courteous of the price considering all the custom work as well as all the stock parts that come with the deal.

Please email me to setup times to look/drive her around. Serious buyers ONLY. Looking to get rid of her ASAP ... i'm talking next week at the latest. Travel a lot for business and just need to get this taken car of.

ASKING PRICE: $30,000 OBO ... i've put WAY WAY WAY more into it .. but i just want a quick sale and someone to enjoy her as much as i have

Thanks,
Brandon

BMW Motorrad celebrates 90 years with new R nineT roadster [w/video]

Wed, 16 Oct 2013

90 years is a heck of a long time by any standard, and as good a cause for celebration as we've ever seen. That's how long BMW has been making motorcycles for, and it's celebrating with the retro cafe racer you see here - as promised and previewed.
Dubbed the R nineT (for 90 years), the latest product from BMW Motorrad traces its roots back to the original 1923 BMW R 32. And like the original, it's powered by a boxer twin - in this case, a 1,170cc air- and oil-cooled unit delivering 110 horsepower and 88 pound-feet of torque. All that muscle is packed into a classically-styled roadster that looks ready to line up next to a Moto Guzzi Griso, Triumph Thruxton or Ducati SportClassic.
The neo-retro styling drapes a unique tubular steel spaceframe chassis that uses the engine as a stressed member. The inverted telescopic front fork is borrowed from the S 1000 RR superbike and a paralever swingarm with spring strut suspends the rear. That's where you'll find a removable rear pillion for an extra passenger and dual tailpipes mounted on the left side, swappable for a titanium Akrapovic exhaust - just one of many customization options BMW Motorrad is offering for the R nineT.

BMW M235i Racing takes to the track

Mon, 09 Dec 2013

Last month, BMW showed off a motorsports version of its new 2 Series Coupe called the M235i Racing. While that single image was obviously a rendering or design model, BMW Motorsports has now released a video showing the real deal being tested.
From what we can tell from beneath the camouflage, the wide-body fenders - to accommodate a 3.5-inch track stretch - are slightly different than the image BMW previously released. Still, the body is noticeably different from the stock coupe. The video, which is posted below, shows glimpses of the race-prepped interior, including a full FIA roll cage, but more importantly we get to hear the 333-horsepower engine and its throaty exhaust in action.

BMW CS reinterpretation proves retro can be sexy [w/video]

Fri, 28 Mar 2014

Designer David Obendorfer doesn't work for BMW, but perhaps the German automaker should give him a call. His CS Vintage Concept shows a singular ability to understand the brand's classic style and reinterpret it for today. He isn't some amateur, either. Obendorfer has an industrial design degree and has been penning the interiors and exteriors of yachts from the Officina Italiana Design for five years, which counts luxury shipbuilders like Riva and Sanlorenzo among its clients. His website shows a real passion and knack for modernizing '60s and '70s European cars, too.
Obendorfer prefers to reimagine classic automotive styles. "Retro cars are not copies of their predecessors or renovated specimens, rather they are carefully studied reconsiderations, strongly rooted in contemporary style," he tells Autoblog. For the CS Vintage Concept, he worked to update the looks of the seminal BMW 2000CS and its E9 chassis while placing them on a modern platform. Obendorfer's inspiration comes from his belief that the later CS models' design is partially responsible for defining BMW styling, with its shark-nose front and four round headlights.
The CS Vintage Concept's shape starts with a jutting hood and a quartet of LED headlights, but the whole design really comes together in profile. The Hofmeister Kink at the rear pillar with the BMW Roundel is a nice nod to the originals, yet the proportions still find the perfect fusion of classic and modern. The interior is minimalist, with a vast expanse of wood for the dashboard at first glance, but the latter opens to expose the car's infotainment system.
