2003 Bmw 325i Base Sedan 4-door 2.5l on 2040-cars
Pocatello, Idaho, United States
2003 BMW 325i, Manuel/Automatic shifting...words will not describe how this car handles, and drives, very beautiful Alpine white in color, all black leather interior, with wooden accents, sun roof, very clean inside out, has been taken care religiously. Love this car, head turner no questions asked. spent a lot lot of money on it. all maintenance, has been done professionally by dealer. this car as it sits is in excellent condition for the year, and the miles 153k.
It has all brand new parts all around the car. HID lights, with anti flicker adapters installed brand new spark plugs, ignition coils, belts, oil filter, oil reserve, O2 sensors, ceramic brakes, rotors are upgraded to drilled and slotted racing rotors capable of stopping the car in a snap. brand new 19" all season performance low profile tires ( car does great in winter with these tires), and BMW Rims, brand new power steering pump, transmission has been serviced professionally, Muffler is also upgraded mainly to increase horse power (very expensive upgrade) and also provides a deep elegant sound,if you are serious, then you can come test drive it... Title on Hand free and clear, car never been in any accidents. I will eat the loss for everything I upgraded in this car., there is one things that the car needs, the back passenger window needs to be put back on track very very minor issue, but totally has no effect on the performance or the comfort of using the car, I could fix it but (A) the winter is coming, and no need to roll the back windows down anyway. (B) I don't have the time to fix it. Check NADA guides out. |

BMW rolls out new M4 safety car for DTM
Mon, 05 May 2014Ever since revealing the M4 on nearly five months ago, BMW has been hard at work getting its new muscle coupe out on the track. It's made a touring-car version to compete in DTM and a safety car to set the pace at MotoGP races, and now it's combined both into a new safety car for DTM as well.
The ninth M4 on the DTM grid is based on the production version, but fitted with numerous upgrades over the course of a two-month conversion process. For starters, it's been equipped with nearly exterior component from the M Performance Parts catalog, including the quad-tipped exhaust, front splitter, rear spoiler and diffuser, blacked-out grille, special mirror caps, side sills... the works. But that's not the end of the story.
BMW M GmbH also gutted the interior, removing the rear bench and replacing it with a roll cage. It's got a pair of Recaro racing buckets with Schroth harnesses, plus special LED emergency lighting, radio communication system and, of course, special livery (albeit nowhere near as cool as the MotoGP one) to distinguish it as the official safety car when it makes its debut at the Nürburgring on August 17.
BMW offering Track Handling Package for 2 Series
Thu, 17 Apr 2014After getting a chance to drive the BMW M235i earlier this year, we mentioned our regret at not being able to sample the lighter and less powerful 228i Coupe. We'd like to have seen how close the latter could get to the former, noting that "there's a lot of room for upgrades with the $11,000 retail difference." BMW is closing that performance gap slightly, announcing that a Track Handling Package will join the options sheet for the 2015 228i Coupe.
The group bolts on Variable Sport Steering, Adaptive M Suspension and M Sport Brakes behind new 18-inch lightweight wheels wearing Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires. There's no change to the 240-horsepower four-cylinder, but a coupe so equipped should be able to do plenty more with the horses it has thanks to a faster steering rack, sharper handling due to additional sensors and a ten-millimeter drop in ride height, and larger brakes and discs.
BMW has used the New York Auto Show as a venue to introduce the new Track Handling Package, and it will roll onto showroom floors in July and pricing will be announced sometime between now and then. Takers can get it with both the six-speed manual and eight-speed Sport Automatic, see it in the high-res image gallery above, and read about it in the press release below.
Looking back at 84 years of BMW roadsters
Tue, 01 Oct 2013Today BMW is a top player in the luxury vehicle market, but it wasn't always so. With origins as an airplane engine builder early in the 20th Century, it broke into the automotive industry when it bought Automobilwerk Eisenach in 1928. That German manufacturer was licensed to build the Austin Seven under the name Dixi DA-1, which could be had in a roadster body style. In 1929, BMW dropped the Dixi name, and by 1936, it was building a car it designed in-house, the 326 sedan. That was followed by the company's first roadster of its own design, the swoopy two-door 327 of 1937.
XCAR picks up there, and gives a history of BMW's iconic roadsters starting with the 327, ending with today's Z4, and covering everything in between - including the beautiful post-war 507 of 1957 and the funky, plastic-bodied 1989 Z1.
The video, which we've included below, is a good history lesson and a great chance to see a bunch of classic BMWs, spanning 84 years, all driven back to back within the safe confines of a racetrack. When you have a spare 20 minutes, go ahead and take some time to watch it.
