More details at: suzannstthames@veggies.org . This car is very unique and amazing! This thing has a 3.0L inline 6 cylinder turbo diesel engine
that puts out 265hp and 425 lb-ft of torque!! She is fast, stylish, and comes with 4 doors to haul the whole
family plus groceries. No trouble at all merging onto the highway with this wonderful machine, plus you get about
40 mpg on the highway!!
The particular car you are looking at is loaded with all the options you really want. Color palate is a sapphire
blue with metal flake exterior and a cream / beige interior. The interior also has wooden trim. The car comes
equipped with the Cold Weather Package, Premium Package, leather seats, Bluetooth, sunroof, Bi-xenon headlights,
dual climate control, power everything, memory seats, heated seats, heated steering wheel, iPod connection, folding
rear seats, and push button starting. The headlights might be my favorite option - They move with the steering
wheel and it is amazing how far you can see with the Xenon lights! This car does not have navigation. We just
connect our phone and let google do the work through the car's speakers anyway.
The only modification to the car has been to slightly tint the windows. The tint is just right to look stock. No
mechanical modifications at all. The engine has been strong and has never needed work. No major accidents, clean
car. The paint work is gorgeous and no dents or dings. One wheel has a small amount of curb rash, but the 3
others are perfect. Tires are new as of spring and have less than 3,000 miles on them. I have FULL SERVICE RECODS
available. This vehicle was meticulously maintained at the BMW dealer and all records are available. The car has
never given us any trouble and has been a great machine.
Also included are 2 sets of key fobs for the car and 2 full sets of floor mats. We never used the original mats,
but had the all weather (rubber) mats installed before we picked this one up.

Audi to spend $17 billion to fight BMW

Sat, 29 Dec 2012

It's no secret that VW Group, parent company to not only Volkswagen but also Audi, Bugatti, Bentley, Lamborghini, Porsche and Ducati brands sold in the US, is determined to become the world's largest automaker. Even more impressive is that VW is prepared to spend billions to make it happen.
With that comes word that VW Group will be spending $17 billion on its Audi brand over the next three years to push itself above rival BMW. The money will be invested in both vehicle development (including lightweight auto design and alternative powertrains) and facilities (including expansion in Hungary, China and new operations in Mexico). The luxury brand is focused on global manufacturing infrastructure.
Already Europe's best-selling luxury brand, Audi's objective is to overtake BMW by the end of the decade by selling more than two million cars per year (BMW is shooting for 1.54 million sales in 2013). If those objectives are met, VW Group should be on track to be the industry's volume leader by 2018.

BMW recalling a grand total of three X3s over instrument panel defect

Wed, 18 Dec 2013

We've seen big recalls and we've seen small ones. Some involve millions of vehicles, and some - like the Infiniti Q50 recall on which we reported just the other day - involve just a couple dozen. But this has to be the smallest recall we've seen yet.
"Due to a production process error" in the BMW X3, states the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration in the notice below, "the team seam on the instrument panel was not manufactured correctly." Big friggin' whoop, you say? Well, NHTSA points out that it could hinder the deployment of the airbag and send fractures flying everywhere.
The problem was discovered in a select few examples of the 2013 BMW X3 - both xDrive 28i and 35i models - manufactured in the later part of February this year. And by "select few," we literally mean a few - as in three. Three examples are being recalled. If you happen to be one of those three owners, expect to hear from your local dealership.

2015 BMW M4 Coupe ditches some doors, gains some grunt

Mon, 13 Jan 2014

If you saw our earlier post about the hot new BMW M3 Sedan and were about to call blasphemy for no coupe version, just settle down, silly. Remember: BMW now badges its two-door 3 Series models with the number four, and thus, meet the 2015 M4 Coupe. Looks hot, right?
So yeah, it's pretty much just the M3 with two less doors, but that doesn't make it any less important - or potent. Power comes from a turbocharged, 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine, sending 425 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque to the rear wheels via either a six-speed manual or seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. You know, the usual.
Not only is the M4 more powerful than the M3 Coupe it replaces, it's a good deal lighter, too. BMW has managed to cut 176 pounds of weight out of the M4, and that means, with the increased output numbers, that the M4 will scoot to 60 miles per hour in 3.9 seconds with the DCT or 4.1 seconds with the do-it-yourself tranny. Either way, that's not what we'd call slow.
