I purchased this awesome car in 2010 and have had nothing but success and pleasure with it. I am now purchasing a BMW650 since the kids are old enough to be out of booster seats. Car has been serviced mostly by Flemington BMW in NJ and we have all the records. Any of the few issues that came up were immediately covered by the warranty and repaired. Those items include door actuator, injectors, low and high pressure fuel pumps (recall), battery cable sensor (recall), oil filter housing. I think that is it. Car is currently perfect and just had its firmware upgraded along with full diagnostic. If you dont buy this one, I recommend this car for the car enthusiast that either has a family, plans to, or just likes having the ability for additional passengers. Car drives easily, comfortable, and performs like a beast for any type of car let alone a sedan. You KNOW you are in a German machine. There are companies like Dinan and many aftermarket companies that sell chips to increase the horsepower up to 300. That makes this car faster than the M3 and will beat anything on the street short of a new Vet and the exotics like Ferrari. I chose to keep the car original for the sake of the warranty. I have priced this car for a fairly quick sale. I dont get emotionally attached to vehicles so you are getting a great deal. I can bring the vehicle to a BMW dealer of your choice in central NJ if you want them to inspect it for you. Additional pictures are also no problem. Just let me know what you want specifically. Wife also has a BMW535i that is a CPO that we love. Just a great brand all around.

2015 BMW i8 offers you a fast ride to the future for $135,700* [w/video]
Tue, 10 Sep 2013BMW's long-form teasing and rollout of its incredibly cool i8 has put us in a unique position to report from its world debut here in Frankfurt. Typically, an auto show debut marks just the start of the information dump about a new vehicle. The i8, however, is a car that we've already driven and reviewed, so perhaps the biggest news from the show floor is the official price of the thing, as well as getting to see it live and in person, of course.
Arriving in US showrooms in the spring of 2014, the i8 performance plug-in hybrid will carry a price tag of $135,700 (*not including $925 for destination and handling charges). That kind of cash puts the i8 near the very top of the BMW range (slotting just under the top-trim 7-Series models), and will buy a massive amount of new technology.
The four-seat i8 has the look of a true supercar, and its new-tech drivetrain will offer up the performance of a stirring sports car, at least. A TwinPower Turbo, three-cylinder, 1.5-liter engine will make 231 horsepower and 236 pound-feet of torque that's gets sent to the rear wheels, while a 96-kilowatt electric motor doles out 131 hp and 184 lb-ft of maximum torque to the fronts. Total system output of 362 hp and 420 lb-ft allows the i8 to sprint to 62 miles per hour in 4.4 seconds with all-wheels-driven handling, and it still returns an astonishing 94 miles per gallon US.
BMW 1 Series with B38 three-cylinder engine

Output is quoted at 175 horsepower and BMW says it will hit 62 mph in 7.0 seconds.
The red five-door BMW 1 Series seen in this photo gallery has little to do with what is actually of importance here. What we've just tested at an airfield not far from Munich, Germany, is a new 1.5-liter TwinPower Turbo inline three-cylinder gas engine that we'll be hearing an awful lot about in the coming few years.
BMW preparing two concepts for Villa d'Este
Thu, 20 Mar 2014Every spring, the finest automobiles ever to grace tarmac gather on the shores of Lake Como for the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este. It's a chance for the most beautiful classics to compete for awards and for automakers and design studios to show off their concept cars under the soft light of the Italian sun. But while most of the vehicles old and new that show up for the concours are ones we've seen before, BMW takes things a step further.
As patron of the concorso d'eleganza for the past ten years, BMW regularly cooks up something new for the glamorous extravaganza. Last year it teamed up with Pininfarina for the Gran Lusso Coupé and revealed it alongside the Concept 90 motorcycle. The year before that came the BMW Zagato Coupe, preceded by the 328 Hommage and the M1 Hommage (pictured above) before it.
The theme for this year's event is the Roaring Twenties. BMW may not have been known back then on the same level as Bugatti or Duesenberg, but Rolls-Royce sure was.
