This is a fully loaded 335 xi coupe, 6 speed manual transmission, 4 wheel drive, brand new summer bridgestone tires, and additional set of 16 inch winter 5 spoke gun metal rims from tire rack with blizteck winter tires. Car has been maintained with fully synthetic oil. Spark plugs and brakes changed 3 months ago. I am meticulous about getting servicing done on the car.
Servicing done at by BMW mechanics. I have all the records. Features also include heated seats with winter package, sports package, i drive with navigation, bluetooth, sports bucket seats, reverse parking sensors, run flat tires with tire pressure monitoring. Tire pressure monitoring on winter wheels as well.
Discount tire warranty on bridgestone tires.
The car has zero structural damage, NO prior accidents. I purchased the car certified preowned from a BMW dealership in NJ. The car still has the existing warranty till the beginning of next year or 100k miles.
The car also has an access point tuning device included if you want to tweak the performance of the car or check any fault codes through the OBD computer.  Visit cobbtuning.com to get more information on this unit.
above is the website for the tuning module, a 800 dollar device. Really neat device to have. Can tune your ecu through the obd port.
I am a recent graduate in the Detroit area and have decided to live a bit of a more low key lifestyle in the downtown area thus I am selling my beautiful BMW.
The only issues to be honest and disclose is the following: front bumper, scratches underneath from when I could not see my friends driveway from the snow. Passanger side has a couple of scratches and a door ding, Rear right bumper has a 3 inch scuffed area. I placed pictures
of all of these specifically. I do have a proposal for anyone who wins this auction. For an additional 450 dollars I will get the front bumper repainted professionally as well as the side panel as well as the rear bumper. This will be a dealership grade professional job,
This will be done at a local professional body shop who does OEM quality work. I will cover additional cost for this. The pieces will be fully repainted and not just touched up.
This option will be up to the winner of the auction.
This week detailed interior leather with BMW leather moisture product.
The car has been lovely and I have grown attached to her. The car has run flat tires all around, sport 18 in wheels, I have another set of winter wheel with Blizteck tires that I am giving with the car.
Navigation included, winter package with heated powered seats, Engine is immaculate, all maintenance records are included. Please see pictures... Good luck.
In all honesty, The car is a great car. I am a car guy and keep my automobiles maintained.
The reason I want to sell, truly is to have cash for future planning reasons, and to live a bit more in my means.
Best of luck.
Thanks for looking.

Below is a small description I saw on the net of the 3 series:
The BMW 3 Series has long ruled the luxury sports sedan class with its nearly unbeatable blend of smooth, high-performance power, supple handling, and comfortable interiors. The 335xi Coupe for 2008 incorporates the styling and performance that evolved from BMW's 2006 redesign along with the latest generation xDrive system.

The all-wheel-drive 335xi features the 328's 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine using a new lightweight magnesium/aluminum composite alloy for its block and incorporating, for the first time in a six-cylinder engine, BMW's Valvetronic variable valve lift technology. To achieve more power, BMW strapped on intercooled twin turbochargers with direct fuel injection. The result is fervent praise for a smooth 300 hp and 300 pound-feet of torque - without turbo lag. A six-speed manual transmission is standard, or you can opt for an optional six-speed Steptronic automatic that includes normal, sport, and manual shift modes.

With its impressive acceleration comes the handling that established BMW's "ultimate driving machine" slogan. The 335xi combines traditional 3 Series handling prowess with the latest generation all-wheel drive. xDrive is a sophisticated, intelligent all-wheel-drive system that starts with a 40/60 front/rear torque bias and adjusts torque fore and aft according to road conditions. It is integrated with the Dynamic Stability-Control system, which adjusts lateral traction to counter excessive oversteer or understeer.

The 3 Series won the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety's highest possible rating in both frontal offset and side impact tests. The 335xi includes as standard safety equipment antilock disc brakes, dynamic brake control, stability control (which incorporates disc-pad wiping of brake rotors when windshield wipers are in use), run-flat tires, front-seat side airbags, and full-length side curtain airbags.

3 Series cabins feature high-grade materials, exceptional build quality, and modern design. The 335xi Coupe is designed for four passengers, with two rear seats divided by a center console. The front seats continue BMW's tradition of providing excellent support and comfort. The optional Sport Package provides power adjustable sports seats.
A truly exhilarating car to drive.

Again best of luck, :)

Alex Zanardi back in the driver's seat with BMW

Tue, 21 Jan 2014

If there's ever been an inspirational story in the pantheon of motor racing history, surely it's that of Alessandro Zanardi. The Italian driver worked his way up the motor racing ladder, making it into Formula One and winning two CART championships for Chip Ganassi Racing back before the series re-merged into IndyCars. Tragedy struck in 2001 when he lost both his legs in a crash at the Lausitzring in Germany, but rather than accept his fate, Alex pushed on. Fitted with prosthetic limbs, he learned to drive a racing car with hand controls and got back in the driver's seat.
Zanardi drove for BMW in the European Touring Car Championship and then in the World Touring Car Championship that replaced it, landing on the podium several times despite his physical disadvantage. He left racing in 2009 to train for the Paralympics, winning two gold medals in London, but Alex apparently couldn't shake the racing bug. BMW modified one of its M3 DTM racers with hand controls for him to test later that year. And now he's returning to motor racing full time.
BMW has just announced that Zanardi will be driving a Z4 GT3 in the Blancpain Sprint Series, the successor to the FIA GT Series and short-distance counterpart to the Blancpain Endurance Series. The car has been modified with the hand controls the Bavarian automaker's racing department fitted to the aforementioned M3 DTM and will be fielded by the ROAL Motorsport team with which Alex challenged for the European Touring Car Championship last decade.

BMW, Toyota outline new tech joint venture, new sports car

Fri, 25 Jan 2013

Back in June, Toyota and BMW announced a "memorandum of understanding" outlining plans for the two companies to join forces on future products and technology development. On Thursday, they signed a more formal and binding agreement that goes further into detail about the partnership, and it all sounds pretty exciting. The two announced they will work together in four main areas:
Joint development of a fuel cell system
"Set up a feasibility study to define a joint platform concept for a mid-size sports vehicle"

BMW X4 M40i spotted testing in Germany

Mon, 04 Aug 2014

The stream of segment-busting BMW variants is showing no signs of letting up, and with the latest addition now upon us, questions have been circulating as to whether the Bavarian automaker would do an M version of the new X4 crossover. The jury may still be out on that proposition, but the latest intel suggests that, while a full-on X4 M may not be in the cards, a next-best-thing X4 M40i is in the works. And that appears to be what we're looking at in this fresh batch of spy shots.
Spotted for the first time undergoing testing in Germany, this X4 is tipped to be the next addition to the M Performance line that's already given us near-boiling models like the M135i and M235i on the one hand and the diesel-powered M550d, X5 M50d and X6 M50d on the other. Power in this case is tipped to come from the same 3.0-liter turbo six as the upcoming M2, producing between 360 and 380 horsepower.
Unlike the current top-of-that-specific-line X4 35i, which has two tailpipes on one side, this partially-camouflaged prototype has one pipe protruding from each corner of the rear bumper, but looks like it could easily accommodate twin pipes on both sides. Expect commensurate suspension, brake, rolling stock, aero and trim upgrades to come as part of the package, though they likely won't be quite as substantial as those applied to the X5 M and X6 M.
