This car has very low miles for the year. It currently has a little over 103k on it but the mileage will slowly go up as it is my daily driver until sold. Gas mileage on the highway is amazing, I get around 27 mpg on the highway and around town is around 18 mpg.

The car runs and drives amazing. The motor is smooth and has amazing power whether cruising at 70 or 120. Stereo works great and sounds amazing, car has the premium sound system with cassette and cd changer. A/C and heater work great, I normally just set it to auto and let it control the temp for me. The tires are all continental extreme contact with about 60% tread left. Car handles amazing and rides extremely smooth.

The car has some minor issues but no mechanical issues that I know of. The rear passenger window recently stopped working, I can hear the motor kick on but it doesn't move. The rear sunshade is in the up position and doesn't go down. The pixels in the gauge cluster info center are starting to go out, there are some spots missing but I haven't had trouble reading it and same info can be found though the stereo, this is very common on these cars. The clear coat is peeling in several places, mostly the roof and trunk. It's peeling very lightly on the front fenders. These are the only issues that I know of.

BMW, Toyota outline new tech joint venture, new sports car

Back in June, Toyota and BMW announced a "memorandum of understanding" outlining plans for the two companies to join forces on future products and technology development. On Thursday, they signed a more formal and binding agreement that goes further into detail about the partnership, and it all sounds pretty exciting. The two announced they will work together in four main areas:
Joint development of a fuel cell system
"Set up a feasibility study to define a joint platform concept for a mid-size sports vehicle"

BMW M4 spied in coupe and convertible form

From the sound of it, we'll have to wait until the Detroit Auto Show to see the production version of the BMW M4, but spy shots show the new hi-po BMW testing recently in both coupe and convertible form. Showing a lot more skin than recent spy shots, these M4 prototypes look very similar to the M4 Concept we saw at Pebble Beach.
Carryovers from the concept car include the funky mirrors, bulging hood and the slotted front fascia vents, but the rear fascia seems to be missing the added flair of the concept and, as expected, the carbon fiber front splitter and exhaust tips are also missing from these M4s. Like the current M3 Convertible, the drop-top version of the M4 will utilize a retractable hard top.

2014 BMW X5 recalled over faulty child-safety locks

BMW is set to recall some 6,400 of its new-for-2014 X5 SUVs built between December 12, 2013 and March 10, 2014 due to concerns that the child safety locks, if set, might deactivate without warning. The problem affects only those vehicles with the automatic soft-closing option.
According to the bulletin issued by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the lock mechanism on the rear doors "may not have been manufactured to correct tolerances," meaning the safety locks could disengage with a simple pull of the door handle. Basically, with a pair of tugs, the rear doors could be opened from the inside, regardless of child safety locks.
BMW is in the process of notifying owners of affected vehicles. Any necessary repairs will be conducted free of charge. Take a look below for the official press release from NHTSA.
