This auction is NO RESERVE and the vehicle will go to the highest bidder!!! This is a silver 1998 BMW 750il V12 Engine. I purchased the car 5 years ago with a rebuilt title. The car was in excellent condition and I have driven it all over the country. The car has the amazing V12 engine and it runs as good as the day that I bought it. The transmission shifts smoothly and I have had no issues with it at all. The interior of the car is in pretty good condition as well. There are no tears or rips and the leather is still in great condition. There is a little normal wear. The paint on the car is in overall good conditions as you can see in the pictures. There are a few dings and scrapes but I have taken pictures of those so that you can see them. As with any car in this range there are a few items that will need to be taken care of in the near future and a couple of cosmetic things that you can fix if you desire. The AC blows cool and needs to be recharged to blow cold, the brakes were replaced a year ago and will need to be replaced in the near future. The cosmetic items are: The radio works but you will have to have the dealership reset as I entered the code wrong 1 too many times, a piece of the bumper molding on the rear bumper needs to be replaced as you can see in picture, the right front fender has some damage next to v12 emblem as shown in pictures, a scuff mark on driver’s door that can be buffed out. The check engine light goes on and off but that is normal for BMWs. I have owned 8 of them and they all do it. As I stated early engine runs smoothly. This will make a nice car for someone that can appreciate this cars engineering. This car sold for $100K in 1998 and its ride and features are on the level of many late model cars. I have placed many photos as I buy cars off of ebay and don’t like suprises when I go to pick them up. I have also identified any issues that I know about. Please feel free to call if you have any questions.

Watch the BMW i8 get wrung out on the Ring
Thu, 24 Apr 2014Been wondering where the heck the reviews of the all-new, plug-in-hybrid BMW i8 have been? After all, the car isn't exactly new, having debuted in concept form way back in September of 2009. In August of last year, we even tested a prototype of the new supercar. Despite that, though, we still haven't gotten a crack at the actual vehicle that will be sold to the public.
Well, we're happy to tell you that we're currently testing the i8 and will have a proper review for you soon. If, however, you're just aching for some coverage of the low-slung plug-in, we have a short video of it in action around Germany's famed Nürburgring.
Despite it's three-cylinder, turbocharged gas engine, the i8 sounds pretty angry as it laps the Ring. That is, until it has a little bit of a breakdown. According to the guys that caught the car on video, it appeared the i8 had a minor brake issue, and was parked on the side of the track for a good 15 minutes, with the driver pumping the brakes. We should probably just take this as proof, then, that manufacturers are actually using the Ring for testing, and not just messing about.
EVO takes flight in BMW's sultry i8
Mon, 15 Sep 2014Electric cars and hybrids are here to stay, much to the apparent dismay of some auto enthusiasts, but that doesn't mean they have to represent the death of enjoyable driving. Granted, the initial run of hybrids in the US like the Honda Insight and Toyota Prius weren't exactly tailor-made for aggressive folks behind the wheel, but things are clearly changing. In its latest video, Evo takes a look at three examples from Europe's new crop of electrified vehicles to show that the future of fun motoring is safe and sound.
Evo editor Henry Catchpole kicks things off with one of the most bizarre EVs of the bunch, the tiny Renault Twizy. Its low power and 50-mile-per-hour top speed might make it miles away from a hot hatch, but there's still fun to be had in extracting the most from this little city car. Next up is the Audi A3 E-Tron, which isn't technically available yet. It's a step in the right direction of eventually creating an affordable, fun-to-drive hybrid hot hatch.
However, the main event is Catchpole getting some seat time in the BMW i8. The Bimmer can really fly -literally in this case - and the butterfly-door coupe offers a clear look at the prospects for electrified sports cars. It might not have the power of hybrid supercar contemporaries like the LaFerrari or Porsche 918 Spyder, but the BMW doesn't cost nearly as much, either. See? Improved efficiency doesn't have to mean boring.
2014 BMW X5 configurator goes live
Sun, 28 Jul 2013BMW won't begin selling the 2014 X5 for another few months, but the German manufacturer has brought the third-generation SAV's configurator online, allowing interested customers to poke around and look at the X5's optional goodies.
Like the 3 Series, the X5 is available in a number of lines that load up extras automatically. There's also a do-it-yourself truck that allows owners to pick and choose if they're not enamored with the styling or trim of one of the dedicated packages. As usual, the options list is quite vast, regardless of which line is chosen. We were able to easily take the new, rear-drive X5 sDrive35i, which started at $52,800, and bring the total price up past $80,000.
The new X5 carries over its 4.4-liter, twin-turbo V8 from the current model, as well as BMW's excellent 3.0-liter, turbocharged inline-six. The X5 xDrive35d, with the 3.0-liter turbodiesel will also be available on the third-generation SUV, but won't hit dealers until early 2014. BMW is stepping outside of the X5's usual bounds, offering a dedicated rear-drive model, available with all the same trimmings as the xDrive vehicles. Head over to BMW's US consumer page and have a go.
