Have title in hand ready to sell, make me a offer (not $5.00 If you bid and win I will deliver this car for $1.00 pr mi one way from 20685 MD.
BMW 740il what can you say it has everything. I have had this car for about 2 years and only drove it about 14,000 mi. last summer we took it on a 3000 mi. trip this is a beautiful car to travel in. it has 18” M rims and a big base for sound ( see photos ) GPS, sun shads over the windows front tires are about 50% rear about 70% paint is good it has a couple of door dings a scratch on the front and rear bumper (see photos ) it needs a good wax job. When it is clean everywhere I go I get all complements the seats have no rips or tears the drivers seat leather was replaced by the owner before me. The carpet is OK it has some stains form kids the owner before me had kids and so do I. There a couple of cigarette burns they where there when I got it. Over all a very beautiful car. On are trip last year the A/C went out after about 600mi so we got it fixed over $1100.00 new compresses and belts. The reason I am selling it is I have a BMW-540I M that I want to spend my time with.
THE BAD:: The front tires will hop when they are cold from 50- 55 mph. if you go slower or faster they wont. After they get warm they are fine no hop at all. I just go slower or faster till they get warm. The trim around the drives seat is broken you can order this part on e-bay. About 6 months ago the CK engine came on it had vacuum leaks $ 180 + to fix at shop the same codes are on now. Don’t know for sure but I think same problem. It has oil leaks not real bad but will leave oil spot on your driveway. Has bulls eye in the windshield on passenger side maybe could get fixed when I got state inspection they only told me about it and pass it. The head liner is coming lose in the back. The drivers side rear window dose not go up buy it self you have to help it. It was this way when I bought it I never fix it. ( How often do you drive a 740 around with the windows down.)
I am describing the car the best I can this is everything I know about it. There is no guarantee or returns with this car it bought as is please bid with this in mind. If you have any questions please seen me a e-mail.

BMW 328d confirmed for New York debut
Thu, 14 Mar 2013Late last year, some of BMW's future diesel plans for the US market were leaked, and we learned that a diesel-powered version of the 3 Series sedan (pictured above in 335i guise) would be coming in the first quarter of 2013. That report appears to be holding true, as BMW has just confirmed the debut of the oil-burning 328d sedan as part of the company's New York Auto Show plans.
The 328d will be powered by a turbocharged four-cylinder diesel engine good for 180 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque. The rear-wheel-drive sedan will hit 60 miles per hour in 7.2 seconds and fuel economy numbers could "well exceed" 40 miles per gallon. (Official EPA numbers will be released closer to the car's launch.)
Elsewhere on BMW's New York stand, the company will show off the 3 Series Gran Turismo that debuted at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this month, as well as the Concept Active Tourer that we first saw in Paris last fall. Scroll down for the official press blast.
Bunny couldn't out hop a BMW M3 on-track
Mon, 15 Jul 2013Driving a car is a dangerous hobby, and not just because of other drivers or poor roads. Sometimes, it seems like even the wildlife is out to get you, as evidenced here, here, here, here and here. Now, we can add one more unfortunate car-versus-animal encounter to the tally.
Perhaps believing that this bright orange BMW M3 GTS was a very fast, very loud carrot, an unfortunate bunny leaped into its windshield in a brutal accident at a Polish racetrack. Considering the M3's speed at the time, 89 miles per hour, the passengers are lucky to be okay. Obviously, Bugs didn't make it.
The BMW isn't in such great shape, though. The windshield is in a bit of a state, with safety glass sprayed all over the passenger side of the cabin. There doesn't appear to be any sheetmetal damage, at least from what we can tell from the video. Although there isn't any blood, the hit is really hard. The initial point of impact is at 0:57. Check out the video below.
BMW M3 and M4 CSL not in the cards
Mon, 27 Jan 2014We aren't sure whether to file this one under "good news" or "bad news." BMW confirmed to Top Gear that there "are no plans" for lightweight versions of the new M3 and M4, in the same vein as the E46 M3 CSL (despite rumors to the contrary). The reason?
"There wasn't a CSL on the previous generation, and the way we look at it is like this: the CSL was great because it had this real focus on lightweight engineering. But we've already done that with these new cars. We've made them as light as possible - they come in under 1500 kilograms (3,306 pounds), which for a car like this is incredible," said Matt Collins, BMW's product manager for small to medium cars.
Now, as much as we love the idea of a hardcore version of any car, we appreciate BMW's point of view that the newest Ms are already as light and tough as they need to be. Collins elaborated, saying, "Rather than doing a halfway house to begin with and then rolling out a CSL, we thought we'd make the 'real' car as light as we possibly could. So we've no plans whatsoever to make a lighter, harder version just yet."
