Beautiful 2008 BMW 750 Li  for sale in the Tampa, FL area.  The car currently has 61,000 miles and is in great condition.  It is White with Blue Leather Interior and Black Carpet and Trim.

Some of the main features of the car are:  Air Conditioning, Cruise Control, Dual Climate Control, Navigation System, Wood Interior Trim, Stability Control, Headlamp Washers, Power Brakes, Power Drivers & Passenger Seats, Heated/Cooled Drivers & Passenger Seats, Heated Rear Seats, Fog Lamps, Xenon Headlights, Power Glass Sunroof, Premium HD Radio with 5 disc CD Changer, Anti-Lock Brakes (4), Head/Curtain Airbags, Parking Sensors, Heated Steering Wheel, Automatic Windshield Wipers, Automatic Rear Privacy Shades, Rear DVD Player with 5 Disc Changer, Bluetooth, etc.  (too much to list).

This car was purchased locally through Reeves BMW in Tampa.  It also has the remaining balance of the BMW Certified Pre-Owned Limited Warranty that is transferable.  That warranty will expire on June 12, 2014 or at 100,000 miles, whichever comes first.  We are not dealers and this is our personal vehicle so we feel we should fully disclose that this car was in an accident in October of 2011.  It sustained front end damage and we had it towed directly to the authorized BMW repair shop because there were children in the car at the time.   It was completely fixed by Gene Perez Body Repair and has been under a warranty with them since (however, that warranty is not transferable).  We have had ZERO problems with the car since the accident as it was fixed exactly as it should have been with new BMW Parts.

We are initially listing this vehicle for local pick up only in the greater Tampa Bay Area.  Shipping would be considered on a case by case basis at the buyers expense.

Please look at the pictures and if you would like to see additional pictures, please just let us know.  Thanks!

BMW unleashes new M4 racer on DTM

Mon, 03 Mar 2014

We may not get to enjoy the fruits of it all, but we're in the midst of a golden age in touring car racing around the world. In Northern Europe, rival local series have amalgamated into the Scandinavian Touring Car Championship. In the UK, the British Touring Car Championship is enjoying the largest and most diverse grid in its long history. In Australia, the V8 Supercars series has grown from a Holden vs. Ford battle to include challengers from Mercedes, Nissan and Volvo. And in Germany, the DTM championship has managed to lure BMW back onto the grid to open up the battle between Mercedes and Audi. All good things, in short.
Since returning to the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters in 2012, BMW has won the drivers' title once and the constructors' title twice, proving the Bavarian manufacturer to be not only a suitable challenger to the two-horse race between its star- and ring-emblazoned rivals, but the dominant force in German tin-top racing. Now BMW is set to enter its third season since returning to the DTM, and this is the car with which it intends to do so.
Replacing the M3 DTM that has impressively won half of the DTM races it has contested over the past two years, BMW's latest racing car is made in the mold of the new M4 coupe. Only it's even meaner. While the production version has switched to a turbo six, the DTM version still uses a V8: a 4.0-liter unit with four-valve cylinder heads, mandatory air restrictors and a Bosch ECU to channel 480 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque to the rear set of Hankook racing slicks through a six-speed sequential gearbox. The lightweight chassis is rounded out with competition-level aerodynamics and all the mandatory safety equipment.

BMW 4 Series configurator comes online

Mon, 08 Jul 2013

The best money in the world might be configurator money - you never run out of it and you can never spend it the wrong way. We hope you're ready to dip into your configurator savings account, because it's time to start speccing out the 2014 BMW 4 Series, the coupe having just arrived in the virtual world.
There are four possible opening gambits: the 428i for $40,500, the 428i xDrive for $42,500, the 435i for $46,000 or the 435i xDrive for $48,000. After you've chosen your first move, there are three trim options: the $1,400 Luxury Line that features lots of chrome and wood (shown), the $1,700 Sport Line that adds lots of gloss black and contrasting trim color and stitching, or the $3,100 M Sport that offers the M Estoril Blue hue and lots of M-division specific accessories.
Starting with the 435i xDrive and M Sport, we then added items like the 19-inch wheels ($900), the Dynamic Handling Package ($1,000), Cold Weather Package ($700), Premium Package ($2,200), Tech Package ($3,150) and the Lighting Package ($1,900) on top of any other box we could check. The total, after the $925 destination and handling charge: $66,749.

Researchers halfway to cutting carbon fiber costs by 90%

Wed, 15 Oct 2014

Carbon fiber has been utilized for decades to build racecars, as a means to cut weight while maintaining strength. But until recently, the space-age material has been largely absent from the street on anything but supercars because of the expense to use it. Recently, BMW signaled a major shift in that trend when it starting using carbon fiber reinforced plastic panels on the i3 and i8. This relatively small scale start might be just the beginning; the German company believes that a breakthrough to inexpensively manufacture the lightweight stuff is just on the horizon.
MAI Carbon Cluster Management GmbH counts BMW, Audi, Airbus, the German government and many other organizations as supporters, and it's researching how to make carbon fiber cheaper to produce, according to Automotive News Europe. The company thinks it can reduce costs by 90 percent in the near future. "We've certainly reached a halfway point on our cost-cutting target for suitable carbon-fiber parts," said project head Klaus Drechsler to Automotive News Europe.
Unfortunately, it isn't entirely clear just what MAI Carbon is doing to make such a huge leap possible. However, a recent post on the company's website talks about a new form a carbon fiber using a thermoplastic matrix that could be cured in less than three minutes. That's compared to about 90 minutes in the traditional process with an autoclave.
