Hi, I am selling my 2010 750 Lxi (xdrive) sapphire metallic black with saddle black nappa leather interior, it has only 18,550 miles as of today. It is my daily driver so at the end of  the auction it might have few hundred more miles on it. Just came out from BMW service. Car drives like new, interior is like new, exterior has some scratches on left rear bumper area and on the bottom left corner of front bumper, also some curb rash on the wheels. Auto check shows accident, which happened sometime ago, and repaired by bmw. There is no frame damage, only fender, bumper, and airbag replaced, since these cars are very protective, even with the lightest damage it can trigger the airbags. It was a low speed accident. Anyway, car looks and drives amazing. It has over $98,000 sticker price, luxury seats, power sunshades all around, premium sound package, heated and cooled front, heated rear seats, heated steering wheel, 19" rims, camera package, massage seats, soft closing doors, and more. Tires are original run flat tires. The reason I am selling my car is to put money towards my new house. It is still under factory warranty. If you'd like to see or test drive please call me at 516 301 0099. Certified major U.S. bank check is preferred payment method or cash in person. $1000 deposit thru paypal in 24 hours required, the balance with in 7 days.

Auto execs surveyed say VW, BMW most likely to grow

Thu, 17 Jan 2013

A new survey of top global automotive executives indicates both Volkswagen and BMW are the most likely to grow their market share over the next five years.
Tax advisory firm KPMG LLP has released its 14th annual Global Automotive Executive Survey, which includes responses from over 200 executives. A total of 81 percent of respondents said they expect to see Volkswagen make gains, compared to 70 percent last year. BMW, meanwhile, saw 70 percent of those surveyed say they believe the company will increase its market share. That's a jump of 7 percentage points over last year. This is the first time in the history of the survey that BMW has claimed the second-place spot.
Meanwhile, Hyundai has seen its perceived market share potential slacken for the third year in a row. Around 61 percent of those surveyed predicted gains for Hyundai, down from 63 in 2012. Toyota also has a surprising year, but for just the opposite reason. While the manufacturer had slipped in ranking since 2011, it enjoyed the largest increase of any company in the 2013 survey, jumping to 68 percent from 44 percent last year.

BMW M4 Concept beckons the new golden child of M cars

Fri, 16 Aug 2013

Ushering in the next-generation of two-door M performance cars for BMW, the new M4 Concept was officially unveiled at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance last night after an unceremonious embargo leak yesterday afternoon. The reality of the fact that we will never again have a new M3 Coupe is a little easier to deal with after browsing the M4 Concept's sleek and sporty lines.
As was the case with the Concept 4 Series Coupe, we expect the this M4 to transition from concept car to production coupe with very few changes. Among the features we's bet against making it into production include the front splitter and the exhaust tips - both made from carbon fiber. Other notable details are the aero-shaped mirrors, the subtle M stripes on the carbon fiber roof and the 20-inch wheels exposing big six-piston from brakes. If it were up to us, we'd say bring this car to production as is - except for the paint color.
There is still no word on the M4's powertrain or if it will even offer a manual geabox, but we would imagine that we'll be seeing this car in production form, complete with all of those details at the LA Auto Show.

Giles Taylor succeeds Ian Cameron as head of Rolls-Royce design

Thu, 28 Jun 2012

Back in the day, a Rolls-Royce looked pretty much the same as a Bentley, but with a different grille. Once BMW took over Rolls-Royce, however, it was faced with the challenge of visually separating itself from its former sister brand. And most would agree that it did so pretty well. But its cars have looked pretty much the same ever since. What Rolls-Royce needs, then, is a bit of a design shake-up. And that's just what this latest appointment could bring.
After a baker's dozen years as design director at Rolls-Royce (and twenty years designing for the BMW Group altogether), Ian Cameron is retiring from his post. In his place, Rolls-Royce has named Giles Taylor as its new director of design. In his new capacity, Taylor will report directly to BMW Group chief designer Adrian van Hooydonk, and be responsible for all design matters related to the Rolls-Royce brand and its products.
Taylor was promoted to the role from his previous position as head of exterior design for the marque, a position he's held for barely more than a year. We'll be eagerly watching to see what the veteran British car designer has in store for the future of Rolls-Royce. In the meantime you can read the full announcement below.
