Here we have a rare opportunity to own a highly optioned 740i Sport.
On the interior of this vehicle is in beautiful condition and it contains all possible wood trim in the surrounding interior.
The headliner and all pillars are covered with black suede interior.The instrument cluster, like most
BMW's, the pixels failed and new used cluster was installed with mileage recorded.
The vehicle has navigation with addition of M5 door woofers and package shelf mounted M audio 10in subwoofer.
The engine in the vehicle has been freshened with a valve job, new timing chain and all guides, water pump, radiator,
aux cooling fan, and all necessary gaskets, seals and O-rings. All work was completed a year or so ago.
The engine does have a typical vanos noise at idle which does not hinder engine performance at all.
The engine runs very well and there is no check engine light on.
All work was done by a BMW Tech with 25yrs experience.
The rear suspension contains an M5 sway bar along with an 3.15 LSD M5 differential. This was a very time
consuming and very expensive upgrade. The vehicle also contains BG, German made, lowering springs.
It also has brand new Goodyear F1 rear tires. A brand new interstate HD battery. The rims have been custom
painted and polished. Rims are original to vehicle.
The exhaust system contains resonator delete along with custom made pipes, modified rear pumper cover, and a
custom made exhaust bezel trim. The vehicle also has updated xenon lights and LED angel eyes.
It also has smoked cornering lamps, side markers, and tail lights. The body on the vehicle is in
beautiful condition. Any dings have been removed by a master paint less dent man.
The vehicle drives in a very tight manor and drives like a car with less then half miles.

BMW, Toyota outline new tech joint venture, new sports car
Fri, 25 Jan 2013Back in June, Toyota and BMW announced a "memorandum of understanding" outlining plans for the two companies to join forces on future products and technology development. On Thursday, they signed a more formal and binding agreement that goes further into detail about the partnership, and it all sounds pretty exciting. The two announced they will work together in four main areas:
Joint development of a fuel cell system
"Set up a feasibility study to define a joint platform concept for a mid-size sports vehicle"
BMW M5 turns 30, celebrates sideways
Sun, 13 Apr 2014BMW has a secret, and it's not telling. The brand's M Power blog is celebrating the 30th anniversary of the M5 and is taking a look back at previous models of its Autobahn-storming sedan, but it says that it will end "with a surprise." The celebration kicks off with a short video showing the latest M5 making some smoky donuts.
The original M5 debuted in 1985 and was the company's most expensive model at the time. Still, it packed a 3.5-liter six-cylinder generating a claimed 282 horsepower (286 PS), which was rather potent in its day. The company touted it as the world's fastest production four-door sports sedan at the time.
BMW won't reveal the surprise until it has chronicled all five generations of the M5, but it wouldn't be shocking to see an anniversary edition model appear sometime later this year. Scroll down to check out the video of the muscle sedan celebrating its birthday the only way it knows how.
BMW sets Guinness record for longest drift with new M5 [w/video]
Wed, 15 May 2013In September of 2011, Chinese drifter Wang Qi broke the Guinness record for the world's longest sustained drift, doing 13 laps inside the Olympic Center Stadium in Tianlin, China for 5,802.3 meters. That was broken in February of this year by Abdo Feghali in Abu Dhabi drifting a new Chevrolet Camaro around a skidpad for 11,180 meters - almost seven miles. In March, BMW decided it wanted the record "back in the US," and set up a course at its BMW Performance Driving School near Greenville, South Carolina to get the job done. On May, 11 it was Mission Accomplished when Performance Center driver Johan Schwartz drifted an M5 around a skidpad continuously for 51.3 miles.
Despite that accomplishment, we're pretty sure that professional drifter Vaughn Gittin, Jr. isn't impressed. The way Guinness defines "drifting" can also describe a donut, which is effectively the kind of drifting that's been done for these last three records. BMW went even further by watering down the surface of the track, reducing the skill required and the need to change tires during the effort. On the other hand, you can't drift a car for long in a straight line, but perhaps there should be some clarification or classifications added to the milestones.
