Up for sale: 2003.5 BMW E46 M3 I have taken immaculate care of this car as it has been garage kept and babied since I bought it. I am having to sell now only due to my expanding family and the need for a 3rd row vehicle. Sad to let her go. Pros (upgrades) - PSS10 fully adjustable coil over kit (professionally installed) (Bilstein's PSS10 coil over system combines adjustable monotube shock damper technology with front and rear height adjustments to give you everything you need in one package. The E46 PSS10 kit is one of the most impressive suspensions on the market for performance and quality. Bilstein has engineered this kit to be functional and specific to the E46 M3 chassis and not overloaded with features and bullet points that you'll never use. With the PSS10 you get 10 damper settings with meaningful differences between clicks, ride height adjustment, TUV certified quality and performance, a limited lifetime warranty, and easy fitment with stock mounts and links. Double Sided Carbon Fiber (carbon fiber honey comb matrix)- (Vorsteiner)) - CSL replica wheels (all "rear" wheels for a squared set up for better tire rotating options) plus is looks cool :D (professionally painted) and spaced for an aggressive stance - All four Bridgestone Potenzas have less than 3000 miles - Black exterior trim Maintenance 1 coil pack went out on me a while back so I had all six replaced just in case (professionally) Inspection 1+2 both completed (professionally) Changed oil every 5k miles only used shell supreme gasoline both wiper blades were replaced this month all four new tires Bridgestone Potenza RE-11 in rear RE-050 pole positions in front brand new MANN air filter Cons The previous owner (whom I still keep in touch with) and I daily drove this vehicle for almost 130,000 miles so there are some normal wear and tear problems with the car (I would be weary of any +100k BMW M3 that is in "Perfect shape") - The interior felt material on the a,b and c pillars is coming off or wrinkling up and the felt trim is separating in some areas (this is a common problem for the E46 M3) - The drivers side seat stitching is has separated where the butt goes (I am 160lbs so this must be common as well) disappointing that this happened last week and made me feel fat :( - In the last month the car has developed a slight hesitation, I took it to the local shop and the mechanic informed me that it is most likely an injector wearing out and that its normal for them to do that at this milage - The adjustable gear in the manual climate control vent has worn out and takes some fiddling with to get the air the perfect temp (again just on the manual controls not the electric) cheap and easy fix I'm sure but i just got lazy and never did (I live in Louisiana its always hot) Shipping Buyer pays shipping- welcome to use eBay shipping services Ill be happy to facilitate the shipping process however I can Paypal only please also will provide more specific picture if requested sold as is |

Looking back at 84 years of BMW roadsters
Tue, 01 Oct 2013Today BMW is a top player in the luxury vehicle market, but it wasn't always so. With origins as an airplane engine builder early in the 20th Century, it broke into the automotive industry when it bought Automobilwerk Eisenach in 1928. That German manufacturer was licensed to build the Austin Seven under the name Dixi DA-1, which could be had in a roadster body style. In 1929, BMW dropped the Dixi name, and by 1936, it was building a car it designed in-house, the 326 sedan. That was followed by the company's first roadster of its own design, the swoopy two-door 327 of 1937.
XCAR picks up there, and gives a history of BMW's iconic roadsters starting with the 327, ending with today's Z4, and covering everything in between - including the beautiful post-war 507 of 1957 and the funky, plastic-bodied 1989 Z1.
The video, which we've included below, is a good history lesson and a great chance to see a bunch of classic BMWs, spanning 84 years, all driven back to back within the safe confines of a racetrack. When you have a spare 20 minutes, go ahead and take some time to watch it.

BMW has taken the wraps off its replacement for the 1 Series, the 2 Series, ahead of an official debut at the 2014 North American International Auto Show in January. Pricing for the new coupe starts at $32,100 for the 228i and $43,100 for the M235i that we showed you earlier today - not including $925 for destination. And before you break out the torches and pitchforks, know that those numbers compare favorably with the current 128i Coupe and 135is Coupe, which start at $31,500 and $43,550, respectively.
