Welcome,

VIN is from 328is 1993.....VIN plates were remove and install on to this M3 at one time from 2 owners ago. I am not too sure what's the story behind that.
True mileage unknown but on the odometer shows 105000. I believe true mileage is around 140K miles. Title in hand and ready to go.

Pros: Great Insurance rate!

I bought the car that needs worked and was neglected with an over heating problem with CLEAN title. The accident happens the next day for me, very minor, totaled by insurance, bought the car back, can't stand to know that it will be junk, painted the whole front half and did many major TLC works mentioned below as I could. I currently have a major life change event and with too many car projects going on, I really need to shed a few and very very sad to let this beauty with so much potential to go. I have inspected the car with my BMW certified mechanic from top to bottom of this M3 since I first bought it close to 1 year ago. I know every nuts and bolts of this vehicle and all it's problem. Unfortunately, time ran out and I no longer have time to commit to it.

I am a BMW enthusiast and this vehicle do not have any Aftermarket parts on it.

This car will drive anywhere, confidently. In need of a GOOD home and owner who will appreciate its as much as I do. I only hope the M3 heritage of this vehicle will lives on with a new caring owner.  For that reason, this is a NO RESERVE auction, last bid wins.

Check out the trick way you access the tire valve on this BMW Alpina B6

Wed, 22 Oct 2014

The wheels are one of the first things you notice when checking out the 2015 BMW Alpina B6 xDrive Gran Coupe. The 20-inch aluminum alloy rollers have 21 spokes that spray out from their hubs, creating one of Alpina's signature design features. But there's also plenty of function to go along with the stylistic form of this hotted-up BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe.
By rotating the Alpina roundel and unlocking the center hub, you gain access to the tire valve and bolts, which are hidden inside. They're literally kept under lock and key, and they protect your Alpina's wheels from the elements and theft. This unique center-fill system employing a hollow spoke isn't a new setup for the favored BMW tuner, but since Autoblog had one in our offices this week, we thought we'd take the opportunity to show the unique mechanism in case you haven't seen it before. Check it out in our brief video below.

BMW almost ready to roll out new 2 Series cabriolet

Thu, 05 Jun 2014

The 2 Series is a relatively new member of the BMW family, having been spun off of the 1 Series (itself one of the company's youngest lines) just last year. So far the range has been split between the Active Tourer and the 2 Series Coupe, but soon the latter will breed a new compact convertible to take the place of the outgoing 1 Series cabriolet, and here we have our best look at it yet.
Spied with the most minimal camouflage and its top down while undergoing its final rounds of development testing, this pre-production 2 Series cabrio looks about ready for show time. While the Active Tourer is based on a different front-drive platform, this convertible is, as you might have guessed, essentially a 2 Series Coupe with a folding fabric roof. That means rear-wheel drive (or potentially all-wheel drive if BMW extends its availability from the coupe to the convertible) win either 228i or M235i specification - both of them turbocharged, the former with a 240-horsepower, 2.0-liter four and the latter with the 320-hp, 3.0-liter inline-six.
Considering that BMW got an approximately $8k premium for the 1 Series convertible over the coupe, expect the 2 Series cabrio to start at a little over $40k for the 228i and top out at around $53k for the M235i xDrive convertible. That is, assuming BMW offers it in that top spec, because at that rate we're getting perilously close to the $54,900 base price of the 435i convertible.

A look back on BMW, South Carolina and Southern manufacturing

Sat, 29 Dec 2012

It has been 20 years since BMW broke ground on its Spartanburg, SC manufacturing facility, and while the automaker doesn't have any plans to mark the moment, economists and industry analysts have taken a closer look at the facility's impact on South Carolina, the South and global manufacturing. As of November, the Spartanburg plant's 7,000 employees cranked out 25,000 vehicles per month, and BMW has poured some $6 billion into the state since the plant opened in 1993. While that figure nearly matches the state's proposed budget for next year, some say there have been drawbacks.
To begin with, South Carolina provided BMW with hundreds of millions of dollars worth of public money and tax breaks with little public oversight, setting a precedent that would repeat itself with other corporations. The Detroit News reports that a Pew Center evaluation found 26 states didn't have a sufficient system for evaluating tax incentive performance. But BMW opened the door for a Southern manufacturing renaissance, with automakers from Mercedes-Benz to Hyundai and Volkswagen opening plants in the Deep South.
While states have raced to offer ever sweeter tax and cash incentives for big manufacturers, officials say BMW is proof the system can pay dividends. You can read the full piece here.
