I will entertain any reasonable offers.  It is more important for me to find a collector who can appreciate the
car, then wait for the highest and best offer.  Meaning . . . I am completely reasonable about the value of the car and will let the market decide.

I have owned the car for 16 years, and I have done my best to keep it as close to showroom condition, but drive it as well.
It moves like a bat out of hell, and I have done some very tasteful mods all detailed here:

I have all my service records in a folder about an inch thick, and can email summaries to anyone interested.

The highlights:

MECHANICAL:
- AC Schnitzer suspension (load leveling intact) with Koni adjustable Sport shocks in the front
- Completely rebuilt AC (every component replaced including AC lines)
- Eisenmann Race Exhaust, cats removed
- Lightened Fly Wheel, race clutch
- Racing Dynamics strut tower brace
- EAT Mark D-Sylva chip
- S38 B38 Cam Sprockets
- 20mm rear anti-roll bar
- UUC short shift kit
- Fresh tires

INTERIOR:
- Custom Interior door panels with Red Leather accents (to repair the issue with Vinyl not adhering to panels with age)
- UUC RK Magnum stainless steel shift knob
- UUC stainless steel e-brake handle

EXTERIOR:
- Rear Spoiler
- M mirrors
- 1993 M5 hood with wider double-kidney
- professionally detailed, ding free, rust free

ELECTRONICS:
- Upgraded HID lights
- Alpine head unit with iPod connectivity, upgraded speakers
- Integrated K40 Front and Rear Radar/Blinder Laser Jammer (can be removed, will reduce asking price to $12,500.00)

Working from home I just do not drive her as much as I used to, shame to see her sit in a garage.
I have loved this car in a way that only a car enthusiast can understand, and I just think she is
better in someone else's hand that can really drive it and appreciate it.

It is a fantastic touring car, great for long trips, and it turns heads and gets "thumbs up" all the time.

Just contact me at arbifox at hotmail if you are interested, it is the best way to get in touch.

BMW M4 vs. Lexus RC F in Head 2 Head sports coupe showdown

Wed, 29 Oct 2014

It's the showdown everyone's been looking forward to, the East versus West grudge match of the year. We're talking, of course, about the BMW M4 versus the Lexus RC F.
Although BMW uses a twin-turbo straight-six and the Lexus uses a free-breathing V8, the two are pretty closely matched on paper: a luxury coupe with over 400 horsepower channeled to the rear wheels.
The BMW has been doing these cars for longer, and the M4 boasts a higher power-to-weight ratio. But then the RC F has more power - and without forced induction to break up the rev range. So which is the better luxury muscle coupe? Watch the latest episode of Motor Trend Head 2 Head to find out.

BMW Active Tourer to hit US showrooms in 2015

Tue, 26 Nov 2013

It's been over a year since BMW unveiled the Concept Active Tourer at the Paris Motor Show, and another four months since it brought the concept back in Outdoor guise (pictured above). Now word has it that the Bavarian automaker is putting it into production.
Although production specs and dimensions have yet to be revealed, the Concept Active Tourer came in a bit smaller than the existing BMW X1. The production version is expected to be based on the same platform that underpins the new Mini hatchback revealed last week in LA, meaning that it will be predominantly front-drive, but an all-wheel-drive version could follow.
There will also be a longer version with a third row of seats, forming part of a new generation of front-drive BMWs to take on the likes of the Audi A1 and Mercedes-Benz A-Class family, of which the GLA will be the Active Tourer's most direct rival. Expect the Active Tourer to arrive in 2015 with a new front-drive sedan to follow in 2017 aimed particularly at the North American and Chinese markets.

Company car offers in decline, but not at The Cheesecake Factory [w/poll]

Sat, 22 Jun 2013

As businesses look to keep high-level employees happy, it seems that use of company cars can still be an effective method, although fewer companies are employing it. According to Businessweek, only about 25 percent of companies offer company vehicles as a perk, while less than half give allowances for employees to use their personal vehicles for work purposes.
The report says that one business still in the practice of handing out company cars is The Cheesecake Factory, which offers the benefit to top managers. And we're not talking about some econobox, either. The article indicates the restaurant chain hands out BMWs on a three-year basis - although the company's own report says that the type of vehicle "varies with the executive's level."
Still, we mostly agree with the article's conclusion that money is the best way to keep employees or attract new ones, even if a corporate car is a big perk. What do you think? Let us know, in the poll below, whether a company car could sway you to work for a certain company (not just the Cheesecake factory, where the "Glamburgers" portion of the menu alone is enough to keep a guy hanging around).
