2006 BMW X3 SPORT My wife just bought a new BMW so we have decided to sell her 2006 BMW X3 Sport. This X3 is probably one of the nicest ones in the country for sale...especially at this price! The SUV has been maintained exclusively by an authorized BMW dealer and has been under a full bumper to bumper warranty (so if there had been any issues we would have certainly had them addressed.) This SUV has served us well, has been a pleasure to drive, and has been very reliable...so much so we bought another one! Paint & Body The paint and body on this X3 is a 9.9 out of 10. It is VERY nice and there is no dents or notable scratches anywhere. It has always been garaged and looks and shines like it did when it was new. It has newer(within the last 18 months) Goodyear tires with about 80% tread still on them. Interior The black leather interior is equally nice with no issues of any kind...it looks great! The stock stereo sounds great and works flawlessly. It has automatic climate control, keyless entry and power seats with memory function. Drivetrain The SUV is mechanically flawless...it needs nothing. It runs and drives like new. The 3.0L V6 engine is very powerful but still gives you excellent fuel mileage. A closer look at the 2015 BMW M3 and M4
Fri, 17 Jan 2014It's fair to say we're going to miss the E92 BMW M3. Its high-revving V8, flame-styled looks and excellent driving character made it quite simply one of the best cars of the 2000s. Its replacements, the new M3 Sedan and M4 Coupe have a lot to live up to.
We still have a few months to wait until we can drive the new cars, but that doesn't mean we can't get excited in the meantime, learning everything we can. To find out, we sent west coast editor Michael Harley onto the Detroit Auto Show floor earlier this week to talk about the new M cars with BMW product manager Victor Leleu.

BMW M4 spied in coupe and convertible form
Thu, 29 Aug 2013From the sound of it, we'll have to wait until the Detroit Auto Show to see the production version of the BMW M4, but spy shots show the new hi-po BMW testing recently in both coupe and convertible form. Showing a lot more skin than recent spy shots, these M4 prototypes look very similar to the M4 Concept we saw at Pebble Beach.
Carryovers from the concept car include the funky mirrors, bulging hood and the slotted front fascia vents, but the rear fascia seems to be missing the added flair of the concept and, as expected, the carbon fiber front splitter and exhaust tips are also missing from these M4s. Like the current M3 Convertible, the drop-top version of the M4 will utilize a retractable hard top.
2015 BMW Alpina B6 Gran Coupe challenges the M6 in New York
Wed, 16 Apr 2014Despite being a well-respected outfit for decades, Alpina remains something of a mystery to many stateside BMW fans. In Europe, Alpina has established itself as a first-rate source for breathed-upon high-performance Bimmers, and it's looking to continue picking up traction on our shores. The US has received a handful of Alpina models through BMW factory channels, namely the 7-Series-based B7, and now we're getting another fast four-door with the debut of the BMW Alpina B6 xDrive Gran Coupe at today's 2014 New York Auto Show.
The B6 Gran Coupe stands as an interesting sibling to the factory's M6 Grand Coupe. Both are propelled by a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8, but the tunes are quite different. The Alpina produces 540 horsepower and 540 pound-feet of torque, which is 20 hp less than the M6, but with 40 lb-ft more torque. An eight-speed automatic and all-wheel drive mean that the B6 is about half a second quicker to 60 miles per hour than BMW's own creation. Plus, the B6 has an unrestricted top speed of 198 mph, making it one seriously rapid 6 Series Gran Coupe.
The sport sedan also wears other Alpina goodies like 20-inch versions of the brand's 21-spoke wheels and exclusive color options. The B6 Gran Coupe goes for $118,225 (including destination), and will be available through BMW dealers immediately after the auto show ends. More info about the B6 is in the release below.
