2013 Bmw X3 Xdrive35i Sport Utility 4-door 3.0l on 2040-cars
Castro Valley, California, United States
Selling my fiancee's 2013 BMW X3 xdrive35i. We bought it in June 2012. Reg is current. We've put quite a few commute miles on her, but she still runs like a tank. I installed a tow package earlier this year as well, and the roof rack is in place. We will also include a Thule roof box. Only down side to the SUV is the tires should be replaced soon, but if Buy-It-Now is used, I will replace the tires prior to pick up.
Includes the balance of the factory 50k mile warranty, as well as an additional 100k mile warranty through Hendrick East Bay BMW in Livermore. This warranty includes glass repair and wheel damage. SUV is fully optioned out. Automatic, NAV, premium sound, full leather, sport package, etc Title is currently held by BMW Financial. As you can see, very clean inside and out. |

2014 BMW 2 Series is a 1 and then some
Thu, 24 Oct 2013
Pricing for the new coupe starts at $32,100 for the 228i and $43,100 for the M235i.
BMW has taken the wraps off its replacement for the 1 Series, the 2 Series, ahead of an official debut at the 2014 North American International Auto Show in January. Pricing for the new coupe starts at $32,100 for the 228i and $43,100 for the M235i that we showed you earlier today - not including $925 for destination. And before you break out the torches and pitchforks, know that those numbers compare favorably with the current 128i Coupe and 135is Coupe, which start at $31,500 and $43,550, respectively.
BMW 2 Series to wear 230i, M240i nameplates
Wed, 19 Nov 2014BMW might not be done tweaking its naming scheme quite yet. Of course, at this point, the jumble of numbers on the back of the Bavarian models has no connection to what's under the hood. So there's not much reason to stop changing the monikers now.
As Autoblog reported a few months ago, BMW is slotting upgraded, turbocharged four- and six-cylinder engines called the B48 and B58, respectively, into the 3 and 4 Series. If this happens, the 328i/428i would become the 330i/430i, and the 335i/435i would turn into the 340i/440i.
Obviously, this change hasn't happened yet, but the same member of 2Addicts, a portion of the larger Bimmerpost community has now claimed that the 228i and M235i would get the same treatment. They would become the 230i and M240i, respectively, with the new engines.
Ford, Toyota clean up in Best Car For The Money Awards
Fri, 22 Feb 2013The U.S. News Best Cars for the Money Awards picks winners by looking at the average transaction price, five-year total cost of ownership, the regard a car has from the automotive press, reliability figures from J.D. Power and Associates and safety data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. The result, according to the magazine, is "the best combination of critical acclaim and long-term value."
Ford nabbed six of the 21 categories that received awards this year, the Focus, Fusion, Fusion Hybrid, Taurus, Escape and Edge getting trophies. Toyota and its Lexus and Scion sub-brands took another five, the Tacoma and Tundra owning the two categories given to pickup trucks. The other ten awards were split between Honda with three, Buick with two, and one each for Subaru, BMW, Hyundai, Chevrolet and Mazda.
