Very Clean 2001 X5 BMW.  Drives like new!! No squeakes/ rattles/ warning lights, etc...

Vehicle is loaded with luxury options.  All power, heated/ leather seats w/ memory, power sunroof, bluetooth, CD Changer, AWD, auto trans, garage door memory, etc...  All options work properly

Exterior is in very good overall condition.  Being as it is a used vehicle, there are a few very small minor imperfections here & there.  There is a dent next to the left rear tail light, which is not very noticeable & could be mostly pushed out with little effort

The interior is in excellent condition.  The only sign of wear is on the outer edge of the driver seat. The spare tire has never been out of the vehicle!!

The Bridgestone tires, oil & front brakes are new.  Owner's manual included.  Vehicle needs nothing!!

I have my dealer license & buy new car trades from a few of the local dealerships in my area.  This was acquired from from the Lexus/ Jaguar/ Cadillac dealer.  I got it for a friend who was expecting a large tax refund, but received a letter from the IRS saying they are confiscating, so he is unable to purchase now.  If vehicle is to be transported, signed paperwork required by the state needs to be returned prior to the vehicle being released

*** Feel free to contact me with reasonable offers.  I must sell the vehicle & I end most of my vehicle auctions early.  Title & paperwork to be overnighted to buyer at sellers expense if vehicle is to be transported ***

Preserving automotive history costs big bucks

Wed, 29 Jan 2014

$1.8 million is spent each year to maintain GM's fleet of 600 production and concept cars.
When at least two of the Detroit Three were on the verge of death a few years back, one of the tough questions that was asked of Ford, General Motors and Chrysler execs - outside of why execs were still taking private planes to meetings - was why each company maintained huge archives of old production and concept vehicles. GM, for example, had an 1,100-vehicle collection when talk of a federal bailout began.

BMW X2 in the works?

Thu, 20 Mar 2014

BMW could bring yet another niche-busting product to the market in 2017 if a report form a forum is to be believed. According to the BMW X1 Forum of Bimmerpost, 2017 could see the debut of the BMW X2. Yes, X2.
Allegedly, this car will ride on the UKL platform, which is slated to underpin both the next-generation Mini Countryman and BMW X1. The X2, though, will play the role occupied by the X6 relative to the X5 - that means it'll be the same basic vehicle with a more sporting (i.e. less practical) roofline. The denizens of the forum claim the X2 will only be offered with xDrive all-wheel drive, and unlike the X6 and soon-to-arrive X4, it will be available in both three and five-door variants.
We reached out to BMW for comment, and got the typical "There's no plans as of right now" statement, although spokesman Dave Buchko did add that, "It's fun to speculate."

2015 BMW M4 gets initiated into the club

Fri, 22 Aug 2014

It's easy for enthusiasts and traditionalists to give BMW a hard time these days, what with its plans to add more front-wheel drive models and seeming move away from more emotionally connected cars. However, the push for perfection that underscored its old Ultimate Driving Machine motto is still in there, especially in its M models. In fact, the first M4 recently made it to US shores, and the company thought the only appropriate way to celebrate was to introduce its new coupe to some of its high-performance forefathers.
The M4's initiation into the M car brotherhood involved bringing together no fewer than 52 classic and newer models - including four racecars and many privately owned vehicles - to an empty parking lot and letting the coupe drift and slalom around them to say hello. According to BMW, there was a combined 11,566 horsepower on hand. It takes a pretty trusting owner to stand back and watch as a brand-new vehicle slides its tail out with the rear wheels smoking within feet of their pride and joy. Stay tuned until the end where the owners and their cars get a shout out in the credits. Scroll down to read BMW's press release about it.
