1987 Buick Grand National T-tops on 2040-cars
Avondale, Arizona, United States
***Serious Bidders/Buyers Please! Here is a 1987 Buick Grand National with T-TOPS up for sale. The interior and trunk are clean. The body is very straight and has been re-painted before I owned it. It could use a good buff, but looks good as is. The trim, cowl and filler pieces could be re-painted at some point - It would just make it very clean. The chrome on a couple of the rims is slightly peeling. Also, the driver side floor pan was patched at some point and could need attending to in the future. The engine maybe could use a tune-up, but otherwise it has driven just fine for me. The engine seems strong when I get on it. These are things I have come across since owning this vehicle. Overall, I have received nothing but "thumbs up" and great compliments on the GN. I love that it is a T-Top car and that I can step on the gas and "GO" at will. Also, it has most of the options it could come with in 1987 (interior power options etc...) I hate to sell it, but I have to at this time. My loss your gain...! I have a few extra parts and GNX style wheels I can throw in too (wheels aren't exact replicas, but pretty close). Buyer is responsible for all shipping cost and arrangements. Deposit due IMMEDIATELY at auctions end and balance due within 7 days of close. If you have any questions or concerns don't hesitate contact me. Thanks in advance and Good Luck! ***If you have specific questions please ask and I will answer to the best of my knowledge. I really haven't dug into the car too much as it was never my intention to change or alter it. The car is not perfect and could use some things here and there. However, it runs, drives, the body is straight and it's definitely a head turner! I was never looking for a GN "show car" - just one I could drive and cruise around. |

Buick shows off new Ultra Luxury Interior for LaCrosse
Sun, 27 Apr 2014The options sheet of the 2014 Buick LaCrosse gets all kinds of fancy with the addition of the Ultra Luxury Interior. Pointing its Tri-Shield logo at the world of haute luxury, the cabin treatment combines sangria leather with ebony accents, shadow tamo ash wood trim and a microsuede headliner to "drive fashion forward."
You'll need to start with LaCrosse models with the 3.6-liter V6 and either the Leather, Premium or Premium II trims to go all Brioni and Buckingham on the cabin, and the privilege package will run you $2,495. We're told that you won't find such contrasting hues anywhere else in the class, though, and that kind of exclusivity might make any price a bargain.
You can find more information on the Ultra Luxury Interior in the press release below, along with some intensely fashion-foward gobbledygook.

2013 Buick Verano Turbo vs. 2013 Acura ILX 2.4
Tue, 12 Mar 2013Answering The $30,000 Entry-Level Luxury Question
Twenty years ago, a comparison between an entry-level Buick and Acura would have matched a Skylark against an Integra.
Twenty years ago, a comparison between an entry-level Buick and its Acura equivalent would have matched a Skylark against an Integra. The unfair battle would have resulted in the compact American's defeat in nearly every measurable category, as the Japanese competitor was arguably at the height of its powers.
