2001 Buick regal I have the perfect first car for sale for your teenager or for yourself. right now has 189300 miles and I still drive it every day (so the miles might be higher by the end of auction) the reason I am selling it is my wife purchased another vehicle and we do not need this one anymore. I have owned the car for a little over two and a half years and when I first purchased it I replaced the catalytic converter, EGR valve, both front hubs, a CV axle, radiator and coolant elbows and replaced oil pan gasket and engine mount. recently had repaired the display on the cluster for the miles that the led bulbs went out in. the car has power everything, has a remote alarm (that I never hooked up siren/horn) did it for the convenience of unlocking doors and trunk. The only thing that does not work is the drivers rear window the motor went out and put a piece of PVC tubing inside door to hold glass up. Car has some minor scratches and a little touch up on the right rear (look at pictures) the passengers dash where the air bag cover is slightly uneven due to Florida hot sun. (Look at pictures) the tires are in good shape, paint in good shape, the car does not leak any fluids!!! and runs good and of course the A/C is ice cold and the CD player works (not sure if the cassette player works) has tints, shifts good and recent oil change..Has the 3.8l V-6 in it and I average 23 miles per gallon in it. I am sure I forgot something if you have any questions feel free to Email me. The car is sold as is and you are welcome to come check it out, clear Florida title, no shipping, face to face transfer for proper paperwork. |

2013 Buick Verano Turbo vs. 2013 Acura ILX 2.4
Tue, 12 Mar 2013Answering The $30,000 Entry-Level Luxury Question
Twenty years ago, a comparison between an entry-level Buick and Acura would have matched a Skylark against an Integra.
Twenty years ago, a comparison between an entry-level Buick and its Acura equivalent would have matched a Skylark against an Integra. The unfair battle would have resulted in the compact American's defeat in nearly every measurable category, as the Japanese competitor was arguably at the height of its powers.
What's in a trademark? Sometimes, the next iconic car name
Thu, 07 Aug 2014
The United States Patent and Trademark Office is a treasure trove for auto enthusiasts, especially those who double as conspiracy theorists.
Why has Toyota applied to trademark "Supra," the name of one of its legendary sports cars, even though it hasn't sold one in the United States in 16 years? Why would General Motors continue to register "Chevelle" long after one of the most famous American muscle cars hit the end of the road? And what could Chrysler possibly do with the rights to "313," the area code for Detroit?
Hyundai, Buick dealer apologize in wake of Chinese baby social media incident
Sat, 09 Mar 2013A very strange story out of China today, as Hyundai and a Chinese Buick dealer were forced to face allegations of using allusions to an infamous child murder on a social media site as a way of promoting the safety features of their respective vehicles.
The original sad tale goes something like this: On March 4, a man reported to police that he had left his infant child in a running Toyota RAV4 while he ran into a supermarket briefly. When he came back out, the vehicle and the child were gone. Later in the week a suspect turned himself in to the police; confessing to them that he had stolen a sport-utility vehicle, strangled the infant that was in it, and then buried the child in the snow.
As you might imagine, the gristly incident was covered massively in the Chinese media. (There was huge public outcry as well, as evidenced by the vigil scene, above.) "Changchun baby abduction" was very quickly amongst the highest ranking search teams of the China's Weibo social media site - an equivalent of Twitter in the English-speaking world.
