1972 Buick Riviera Gs Boat Tail 455 All Original, Ac, Console, Buckets, on 2040-cars
Ridge, New York, United States
I have for sale a 1972 Riviera GS all original perfect restoration project I am buried in another project and cannot do this one wright now the. I will tell you what I do know it was sitting for a while when I got it and needed a fuel pump and the carburetor was rebuilt at that time. The Riviera runs and drives but i have not really used it. It is all original and basically untouched which was why I bought it still has the original radio with 8 track in and the belt is still on the AC, spare is completely intact. This is a GS which is rare for 1972 with the console and buckets
Here is what I know works the lights horn wipers, basically everything to drive the car works front windows roll down, rear do not, AC is hooked up but doesn't work, drives stops as it should, car needs a restoration and would be a fun driver to drive and restore. I have additional parts for the car new dash pad the existing is cracked, I have a 1971 trunk lid the lid on the car is rusty with repair. I have misc parts as well Car has rust tried to photograph but it is far from a rust bucket very good shape for its age. please come see the car in person if you can, car is for sale locally and i reserve the wright to end the auction early. any questions please ask |

GM issues four new recalls, 2.4 million cars affected
Tue, 20 May 2014General Motors has announced another set of recalls, covering some 2.42 million cars in the United States. For those keeping track, The General has now recalled over 15 million cars worldwide this year due to various issues.
Here's the breakdown for this most recent set of recalls:
1,339,355 - Buick Enclave, Chevrolet Traverse, GMC Acadia models from the 2009 to 2014 model years; Saturn Outlook models from the 2009 to 2010 model years
Opel Insignia OPC getting facelift. Will the Buick Regal GS see it, too?
Tue, 07 Aug 2012We've seen spy shots of the base Opel Insignia wearing facelifted front and rear ends, and now it appears that the more potent OPC version will be benefitting from a nip/tuck, as well.
The front bumper has been redesigned, incorporating new air intakes - toned-down versions of the model's signature fangs - as well as a new grille. Out back, there will be minimal changes to the overall fascia, most likely stuff like slightly redesigned taillamps, and inside, these spy shots show a larger navigation/infotainment screen sitting atop the center console.
This is all well and good for the Insignia, but we're wondering how these changes will impact North America's Buick Regal GS. No, it may not share the same powertrain punch as the Euro-spec OPC, but visually, the cars are nearly identical. When questioned about possible changes for the GS, a Buick spokesperson told us that the automaker "can't comment" on any changes at this point. Even so, we wouldn't be surprised if some small changes come our way in the next year or so.
2013 Buick Encore
Wed, 14 Aug 2013Ignored On Arrival, But Coming On Strong
An image exists out there that perfectly conveys the fate we thought would befall the Buick Encore after its world debut at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show. The shot shows the just-unveiled Encore on stage, basking in the glow of spotlights but surrounded by a large display area that's bereft of both cars and people. Two journalists are sitting on a couch over to the side, both facing the Encore but ignoring it as they inspect their swag, and a solitary custodial engineer pushes a vacuum back and forth across a sea of gray carpet.
Like a kid with his birthday cake at a party no one came to, this little crossover's debut was largely, almost cruelly, ignored. Who can blame us, though? Two shows ago, the Motor City's main stage welcomed the redesigned Aston Martin-esque Ford Fusion, the 3 Series-assassin ATS from Cadillac and the return of Dodge to the small car game with the Dart. A fourth model for the wayward Buick brand, especially one so arguably un-Buick in form and function, did not seem to deserve the attention paid to its peers that year.
