This is a 1946 Buick RoadMaster sears 70 three speed on the column I bought this car in Norland Ont. It was a runner but needed some help. The first thing was the brakes the slave cylinder had to be bored out and rebuilt work done at L and L machine shop Barrie Ontario. Next was the exhaust had to be custom bent from manifold to back of car so it would go back in original spot work done at Grizzle exhaust Barrie Ont. Next last winter the motor was pulled and rebuilt the, head was rebuilt with hardened valves (to run unleaded gas) the crank and cam have been sonically cleaned and turned and re polished done at Toronto Crank and Cam. The final assembly was done at L and L machine shop Barrie Ont.
Also well the motor was out the transmission was rebuilt new gaskets, clutch, pressure-plate, fly wheel returned and new shifter bushings done at 400 transmission Barrie Ont.this winter the car is in to get the paint touched up the top half of the car was almost white from fading and a couple of small dents removed there is low to no body filler in the car. Work has been done at Chase auto body Barrie Ont.
I have not done anything with the interior the head liner is mint and the rest of the interior is just OK the front window has a stone chip that is next on my list.

Thanks for looking

2015 Buick Verano offered with six-speed manual after all

Mon, 09 Jun 2014

Good news, boys and girls (well, at least those of you who still like shifting for yourselves). Buick got in touch with us to correct some information that it had mistakenly announced; namely, that the 2015 Verano will lose its optional six-speed manual transmission. Apparently, that announcement was incorrect, and the compact sedan will indeed continue to offer a manual option for 2015, despite what we're certain is a low take rate. Additionally, the Desert Dusk Metallic paint that was said to come as part of an Appearance Package is no longer part of the deal. With that out of the way, we now return you to your regularly scheduled automotive-obsessive broadcast...

2013 Buick Enclave

GM's Flagship Lambda Is (Still) A Smooth Operator
Consumers shopping for a domestic full-size crossover have heard all about GM's triplets. The Chevrolet Traverse, GMC Acadia and Buick Enclave are a very appealing and talented group of siblings. Entering their fifth year of production, albeit middle-age in the automotive industry, each is attractive, well-rounded and very capable on the paved dance floor. While all share nearly identical base DNA and the same basic running gear, subtle physical differences and unique personalities emerge between the trio when one digs a bit deeper.
The most polished of the threesome, without question, is the Enclave from Buick. Fresh off a mid-cycle update (as are its siblings), the flagship of the platform boasts a facelift, innovative new features and an upgraded demeanor for the new model year.

Buick shows US dealers 2016 Cascada convertible

Wed, 20 Aug 2014

The affordable four-seat convertible has become a largely forgotten genre in the States, especially with the death of the Chrysler 200 Convertible. Of course, there are still premium options from Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz - not to mention more overtly performance-oriented droptop pony cars from Chevrolet and Ford - but if you want an affordable cruiser, you're kind of out of luck. That may be about to change, however, with renewed rumors of the Opel Cascada (pictured above) making it across the Atlantic wearing a Buick badge.
According to GM Inside News, Buick showed off the Cascada to US dealers last week, with renewed word that the company plans to bring it over from Europe for the 2016 model year. The US version will reportedly be practically identical to its German cousin in terms of styling, but the powertrain underneath is less certain. According to GMI, it may use the 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that is available in Europe with either 168 horsepower or 197 hp.
The Cascada rides on GM's Delta II platform, which also underpins the Verano, and the latest rumor certainly provides even more evidence that the convertible is probably on the way. Speculation about the droptop started when GM CEO Dan Akerson said last year that the car was on his wish list to bring over. Then, the US trademark on the name was reserved earlier this year, and the release was speculated for sometime in early 2016.
