1970 Buick Skylark Convertible. The car is all original, repainted once years ago. I have the original rally sport rims that go with the car. I had the transition rebuilt three years ago and dual exhaust added last summer. This car runs great you can drive it home even if you live cross country. It is a bucket seat car with a center console, the floors and trunk are in great shape this car has bin kept inside. The is not a show car it's a driver it is 43 years old and has some rust spots, a couple of small dings, and a few minor waves. It would not take a whole lot to make this a show car it is solid and everything works great. The top works without any flaws but is not perfect, has some seams loose and is discolored it is a cream colored top . The interior is in great shape, the only spot that needs redone is the drivers seat, only the part you sit on the back is in great shape. The rest of the seats are perfect. The carpet needs replaced but is a minimal expence.

GM expanding Lansing Lambda CUV plant
Thu, 30 Oct 2014Considering that crossovers are a rapidly growing portion of the US auto market, it's not surprising to hear that General Motors is preparing to build even more of them. The company is investing $63 million to expand its Lansing Delta Township Assembly plant that builds Lambda platform CUVs like the Chevrolet Traverse, GMC Acadia and Buick Enclave.
According to GM, the expansion will add roughly 263,000 extra square feet of space to the plant. Of that, 181,000 square feet will be for an updated body shop with cutting-edge robots. There will also be 54,000 square feet of additional room in the paint shop and 28,000 square feet of more area for general assembly.
GM isn't saying as much, but there is the possibility that this extra space could allow for additional models produced at the factory. Cadillac reportedly dropped plans to build a three-row SUV on the Lambda platform earlier this year, however, dealers for the luxury brand were recently pitched the possibility of adding large and small CUVs, an ATS convertible or a sedan below the ATS.
Cadillac, Buick and Chevy decisions impacted by worries abroad
Fri, 05 Jul 2013European Concerns Drive GM, But Beware Of The French Connection
GM's bid to rationalize Europe will impact the products that will be offered domestically.
It seems that Europe is defining the future of General Motors more so than its home North American market. Having axed Saturn, Pontiac and Hummer, GM has done a fairly good job of repositioning its remaining four divisions, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Buick and GMC. Cadillac carries the luxury banner. Chevrolet is aimed at the masses with cars and trucks along with a nod to performance thanks to Camaro and Corvette. Buick bridges the premium gap between Chevy and Cadillac, while GMC offers a hardcore work/upscale proposition.
