1991 With Very Low Mileage on 2040-cars
Reno, Nevada, United States
My mother was the sole owner of this gorgeous Cadillac Allante. Upon her death I inherited this low mileage beauty. She was only 5 feet tall, so the original dealer disconnected the airbag for safety reasons. Mom kept it in her garage and occasionally drove around Lake Tahoe so the mileage is unbelievably low! Mom had sheepskin covers (a picture of these is included) custom made and professionally installed. I took these off and found the leather seats to be in perfect condition. These covers can be included in the sale if the buyer wishes. The engine compartment is clean and there are no leaks. There are a few dings and a 1" scratch. New tires, battery and new brakes were just done by the Cadillac dealer for this sale. This car is being sold as is. The buyer is responsible for picking it up or having it shipped.

GM's Reuss explains why Cadillac is heading to New York
Tue, 23 Sep 2014
"We're going to take it to a place [New York] to change the way that we do business around the brand of Cadillac." - Mark Reuss
General Motors product chief Mark Reuss elaborated Tuesday on Cadillac's move to New York in 2015, saying it will "elevate" the brand and allow it to reach new customers.
OnStar RemoteLink mobile app coming standard on all new GM vehicles
Thu, 06 Jun 2013As an evolution and improvement of its OnStar technology, General Motors has announced that it will be expanding the RemoteLink Mobile App on most 2014 model year Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac vehicles. The new, aptly named RemoteLink Key Fob Services will allow users to remotely operate all of the same systems as the car's key fob, including locking and unlocking the doors and remote starting (on vehicles equipped with a factory remote starter) using a smartphone.
These Key Fob Services will be free for five years - starting from the vehicle's delivery date - but the full suite of RemoteLink features will continue to be offered only with a subscription (trial or paid). These premium features include contacting a live adviser, getting turn-by-turn directions and remotely monitoring the vehicle's diagnostic systems.

How GM's grueling 24-hour test gets the kinks out of its performance cars
Tue, 27 Aug 2013One of the biggest challenges automakers face when designing a high-performance car is making sure that it is both fast and reliable. For General Motors, any car that might be taken to the track by its owner - like the Corvette, Camaro Z/28 (shown above) and the Cadillac CTS-V, for example - undergoes a rigorous and strenuous 24-hour test by engineers at the Milford Proving Grounds, as pointed out by Car and Driver.
We've posted on this topic in the past - on a video showing the Camaro ZL1 being brutalized, for instance - but this article gives a more in-depth look at what actually happens behind the scenes... including what that poor ZL1 went through. Though the test isn't for 24 hours straight, the cars are pushed as hard as possible by some of GM's best drivers with only the brakes and tires replaced frequently.
We don't want to ruin the fun for you, but it is an interesting article that tells just some of what GM does to develop its sports cars. Check out the full article over at Car and Driver for the rest of the story.
