1992 Cadiallc Allante Convertible-4.5l V8, 81k Miles, White,red Leather, A/c, on 2040-cars
South Jordan, Utah, United States
Up for auction is this absolutely
stunning 1992 Cadillac Allante convertible. This car has only 81k actual miles,
and judging by the interior, exterior, undercarriage and engine compartment, I
have no doubt that is accurate. (Autocheck indicates this as well). This car is loaded to the hilt with options,
which include: · Beautiful Maroon leather Interior · Power windows · Power locks · 10-way Recaro Power seats · Tilt steering wheel · Remote trunk release · A/C · Power antenna · Cruise Control This car wears its original pearl white paint and it looks
fantastic, hardly a nick or scratch anywhere.
1992 was the lowest production year for the Allante, with just over 1900
produced, so getting your hands on one of this quality would be difficult. You would be hard pressed to find a more
original, near mint Allante anywhere! This
car drives extremely well on the freeway, and it made a several hundred mile
trip with no problems whatsoever. If you
have any questions, please ask. I am
also open to any offers you may have.
Good Luck!!
By bidding on this vehicle, you agree to the following terms: Successful high bidder must contact me within 48 hours of close of auction, and submit a 10% minimum deposit within 3 days.

Cadillac could 'flourish' in Australia, says marketing chief
Thu, 13 Mar 2014Cadillac might have its best product mix in recent history, and GM's luxury brand is looking to expand. In fact, it might even be making a trip Down Under, at least according to the company's global marketing chief.
Uwe Ellinghaus spoke with Australian site Car Advice at the Geneva Motor Show and said the brand could be quite successful there. "[The] goodwill that the Cadillac brand has is such a good starting base that once we get proper volume commitment and a dealer network behind it we can easily flourish," he said, though he warned that the plans are still in their earliest stages and years away. First, Cadillac will expand in markets with the highest possible sales, like China and Russia.
Ellinghaus said that the most likely models for Oz would be the SRX, Escalade and CTS; the latter would probably act as a replacement for the Holden Commodore. GM's Australian arm is ending local production in 2017, and there have been many rumors about what is happening to the big sedan. However, Ellinghaus admits exporting cars from the US to Australia is going to mean higher prices. In addition to the expense, Cadillac doesn't currently build any right-hand-drive models. It would likely take until the end of the decade before the Aussie models could be ready.
GM recalls full-size truck, SUVs and vans over faulty shifter mechanism
Mon, 07 Jan 2013Twelve different General Motors vehicles from the 2013 model year, up to 54,686 units in total, are being recalled over two potential issues with their steering columns. The models in question, all full-size trucks, SUVs or vans, are the: Cadillac Escalade, Escalade ESV, Escalade EXT, Chevrolet Avalanche, Express, Silverado, Suburban, Tahoe, and GMC Savana, Sierra, Yukon and Yukon XL.
The affected vehicles were built with a fractured parking lock cable or "a malformed steering column lock actuator gear in the lock module assembly." As a consequence, they could shift out of park without the brake pedal being applied or with the key removed or in the off position.
A bulletin from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration indicates that the recall should begin on January 17. GM will notify owners, at which time they can take their vehicles to their dealers for repair free of charge. Have a look at the bulletin below for more information.
Cadillac V-Series Academy comes to Las Vegas [w/video]
Thu, 31 Jan 2013General Motors has added another high-speed education course to the curriculum at the Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch outside of Las Vegas, Nevada. The desert track already hosts the Ron Fellows Performance Driving School with Chevrolet Corvettes, including the ZR1, and they've just added the Cadillac V-Series Academy.
Open now, the one- and two-day performance driving school teaches "the finer points of high performance driving" using the 556-horspower instructional aids known as the CTS-V sedan, coupe and wagon. This is different than than using the CTS-V at the Monticello Motor Club on the east coast - that's part of a sponsorship deal that Cadillac has with the track. The driving course at the Motorsports Ranch is its own program that was developed by Fellows, and we have no reason to think the Cadillac edition won't be just as thorough and enjoyable as the one with Corvettes.
Unlike the 'Vette edition, however, it doesn't appear that you get an invitation to the program if you buy a CTS-V model. Classes are capped at 12 participants and run $1,295 for a single day, $2,295 for two days. There are a video and a press release below with more info.
