This Cadillac CTS is beautiful and in very good condition. Runs and drives perfectly. I have driven it daily since purchasing it and it is completely reliable and performs flawlessly on the road, including cross-country trips on a regular basis. Smoke-free environment. Garage kept. Heated leather seats are in excellent condition. This is the LOADED model with everything you expect in a Cadillac, including 'Computer Memory' for different drivers (seat position, mirrors, etc.), White Diamond Premium paint, and a superb sound system.
Low mileage: 74k miles. (This is the 3.6L, their most powerful engine on this model.)

To ensure full disclosure prior to bidding I would like to mention a few things:
•This
Cadillac has an salvage title. The original owner rear-ended another vehicle and it was repaired prior to my purchase.
•There is a recent small cosmetic dent on right rear wheel well, but no paint was chipped (please see pic) and it is easy to fix if desired.
•Small "Emissions" light on dash came on a few months ago and the Cadillac dealer said it is likely needing a new gas-cap, or adjustment on fuel mixture to ensure minimal environmental carbon emissions. This appears to be a "green planet" issue and has nothing to do with performance.
•One of the headlight bulbs will need replacement in the future, as one light seems a little brighter than the other.

We have significantly reduced the minimum price due to the minor issues listed above and will be running this with NO RESERVE, so the highest bidder wins regardless of price.
KBB is approx $12,000.

This Cadillac CTS runs like new, everything functions perfectly, and this is an extremely attractive vehicle. I have listed everything I can think of so you know exactly what you're buying.

A deposit of $2,000 is due within 24 hours of the close of this auction, and the balance within 48 hours after that. You are welcome to arrange delivery if you wish, or you may pick it up in person near Tulsa, OK.

Cadillac XTS to become Opel flagship sedan?

Tue, 24 Jul 2012

According to Auto-News.de, Opel is considering using Cadillac's all-new big sedan, the XTS, as the base for its new flagship car, which would likely carry the name Omega.
WorldCarFans.com speculates that Opel could use GM's 3.6-liter direct-injection V6 that generates 304 horsepower or, possibly, a 2.8-liter turbocharged six-cylinder engine that creates 321 horsepower to power the vehicle. The European automaker could even use a 195-horsepower turbocharged four-cylinder engine in this application - fine, since many of Europe's largest sedans are powered by smaller, more efficient engines.
Regardless of power, the Omega could arrive at dealerships by the end of 2013.

Cadillac scraps three-row CUV plans

Fri, 23 May 2014

Crossovers are one of the hottest automotive segments on the planet. Apparently, the idea of mixing the practicality of a station wagon with the looks of an SUV appeals to people whether they are in Cleveland or Shanghai because nearly every automaker is jumping into the market. So it was no surprise when early rumors suggested Cadillac was planning two, new CUVs to fit above and below the SRX. But things might have changed since then.
New rumblings indicate Caddy is taking a different route. Instead of two crossovers, only the compact is on the way, and the larger, three-row CUV on the Lambda platform to sit between the SRX and Escalade may be a goner. According to Ward's Auto, General Motors thinks that the other three-row, Lambda vehicles like the Buick Enclave and GMC Acadia compete too closely with the proposed Cadillac. The decision comes fairly close to the 2017 intended production date.
As far back as 2010, this Lambda-platform based CUV was considered highly likely for production. However, Cadillac Senior Vice President Bob Ferguson was somewhat cooler about it when he discussed the new crossover briefly last year. He said the model could use the Escalade name, despite its unibody chassis, but no decision had been made yet to actually produce it.

GM recalling Cadillac ATS, XTS, Chevy Impala over faulty brake lamps

Thu, 06 Jun 2013

General Motors has issued a recall covering 1,627 sedans over faulty brake lamps. Both the 2013 Cadillac ATS and XTS are affected by this problem, as is the 2014 Chevrolet Impala.
According to an official National Highway Traffic Safety Administration report, "the brake lamps may intermittently flash without the brakes being applied and the cruise control may disengage" on these vehicles. The report does not state that the brakes themselves are faulty, but rather that "if the brake lamps flash when the vehicle is not slowing, a following driver may not adjust vehicle speed when the vehicle is in fact braking."
This marks the first recall for the 2013 Cadillac ATS, as well as the recently introduced 2014 Chevy Impala. In late 2012, over 12,000 Cadillac XTS models were recalled due to a head restraint issue.
