CAR HAS, AC-HEAT, CRUISE CONTROL, CLIMATE CONTROL, POWER STEERING & BRAKES, POWER WINDOWS, SEAT AND LOCKS, AM-FM RADIO W/ POWER ANTENNA. IT COMES EQUIPPED WITH THE 472 CID AND AUTO TRANSMISSION AND BOTH ARE IN EXCELLANT CONDITION. RUNS AND DRIVES GREAT. THE CARPET IS IN GOOD CONDITION BUT COULD USE A CLEANING AND INCLUDES THE ORIGINAL CADDY FLOOR MATS. DASH IS PERFECT, ALL LIGHTS ARE IN WORKING ORDER. THE CONVERTABLE TOP NEEDS REPLACED DUE TO AGE. THE TOP GOES UP - DOWN PERFECTLY AND THE FRAME WORK IS GREAT. FLOOR AND TRUNK PANS ARE IN VERY GOOD SHAPE. ONLY RUST IS VERY MINOR SURFACE AT THE BOTTOM OF FRONT FENDER, REALLY HAVE TO LOOK CLOSE TO SEE IT. DRIVERS BACK FENDER HAS A SMALL DING AND MINOR SCRATCH AS SHOWN IN PICTURE AND ONE SECTION OF THE HOOD CHROME IS MISSING AND A PIECE OF SIDE CHROME. IN THE PICTURES IT SHOWS MISSING CHROME AROUND THE FRONT SEATS BUT WE HAVE ALL OF IT AND ITS IN GOOD SHAPE. FRONT SEAT LEATHER NEEDS REPAIRED/ REPLACED......NEW ITEMS INSTALLED INCLUDE, MASTER CYLINDER, BRAKE BOOSTER, WHEEL CYLINDERS, BRAKE SHOES, NEW SHOCKS ALL AROUND, TRANS MOUNT, MOTOR MOUNTS AND THE TRANSMISSION HAS BEEN SERVICED.

Cadillac upgrades ATS sedan to match new coupe
Thu, 10 Jul 2014The big news when it comes to the Cadillac ATS for 2015 is surely the addition of the new coupe model, but that doesn't mean that Cadillac has forgotten about the sedan as well. In fact GM's luxury brand has rolled out a few choice enhancements for the four-door to bring it more in line with the new coupe.
Among those changes that we spotted a couple of weeks ago is a new front fascia that incorporates the brand's new wreath-less emblem, and a sleeker front bumper. The interior has been upgraded as well with new trim options as well as some new tech including Siri Eyes Free functionality, dictated text messaging and optional inductive smartphone charging.
Though the ATS Coupe does away with the base engine, sedan buyers can still opt for the 2.0-liter four with 202 horsepower and 191 pound-feet of torque. The 3.6-liter V6 carries over unchanged at 321 hp and 275 lb-ft, but the 2.0-liter turbo four gets the upgraded torque rating of 295 lb-ft (the highest in the range) to go with its 272 hp. 2014 North American Car and Truck/Utility of the Year finalists announced [w/poll]
Tue, 10 Dec 2013The 2014 North American International Auto Show is right around the corner, which means it's high time we found out which cars and trucks would be finalists for the prestigious North American Car and Truck/Utility of the Year awards.
The finalists - three in cars and three in three trucks/utilities - are dominated by American brands, with two-thirds of the finalists hailing from either General Motors or Chrysler (don't worry Ford, there's always next year), while outliers from Mazda and Acura can be found in each contest. Here now is the list of finalists for the big prizes:
2014 North American Car of the Year:
GM recalling 117,000 sedans, crossovers, SUVs, pickups and vans
Thu, 02 Oct 2014General Motors has issued a stop-sale to dealers and has notified the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration of its intention to recall 117,000 vehicles in the United States, Canada and Mexico. Of those vehicles, only 4,500 are at dealerships.
The affected vehicles include the Cadillac CTS and Chevrolet Impala sedans, fullsize SUVs (Cadillac Escalade, Chevy Tahoe and Suburban and GMC Yukon and Yukon XL), Lambda-platform crossovers (Chevy Traverse, Buick Enclave and GMC Acadia), heavy-duty pickups (Chevy Silverado HD and GMC Sierra HD) and fullsize vans (Chevy Express and GMC Savana). The sedans and body-on-frame SUVs include model years 2013 and 2014, while the CUVs, heavy-duty pickups and vans are limited to MY2014.
GM confirmed the recall to Autoblog via an emailed statement (which we've included below). According to the statement, the issue at hand in what is the company's 69th recall of 2014 covers the chassis-control module. Automotive News is reporting that a problem in the chassis-control system could cause a short in the module, which could cause the engine to stall or fail to start. The fault could also affect the trailer-brake control, provided it's equipped.
