Phaeton --rare 4 Door Convertible! Paris Model 1 Of 5 Made In 1978? on 2040-cars
Uniontown, Ohio, United States
owned this car from the early 90s,.. many good memories. I was told (will not swear it is the absolute truth, because I am repeating what I was told) that they only ever converted 5 of these cars of this year, they are extraordinarily rare. when it was ordered to have it converted (Hollywood coach? I think) it cost as much as the car, that's why you just don't see them. the man that sold it to me referred to it as a Phaeton, and also known as a Paris model. due to an injury I am unable to drive it now. I encourage people to come check it out. it runs and drives but is not plated so no road test, sorry. we live in uniontown ohio 44685 area. drop me a note to see it. will consider trades on handicap wheelchair loading vehicles, 4x4 ford vans, and old 2 door convertibles (I can still drive them, I cant get in the 4 door because of a bad knee). will consider a range of things, cash to balance trade is good.

Cadillac V-Series Academy comes to Las Vegas [w/video]
Thu, 31 Jan 2013General Motors has added another high-speed education course to the curriculum at the Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch outside of Las Vegas, Nevada. The desert track already hosts the Ron Fellows Performance Driving School with Chevrolet Corvettes, including the ZR1, and they've just added the Cadillac V-Series Academy.
Open now, the one- and two-day performance driving school teaches "the finer points of high performance driving" using the 556-horspower instructional aids known as the CTS-V sedan, coupe and wagon. This is different than than using the CTS-V at the Monticello Motor Club on the east coast - that's part of a sponsorship deal that Cadillac has with the track. The driving course at the Motorsports Ranch is its own program that was developed by Fellows, and we have no reason to think the Cadillac edition won't be just as thorough and enjoyable as the one with Corvettes.
Unlike the 'Vette edition, however, it doesn't appear that you get an invitation to the program if you buy a CTS-V model. Classes are capped at 12 participants and run $1,295 for a single day, $2,295 for two days. There are a video and a press release below with more info.
2015 Cadillac Escalade on sale in April priced at $71,695*
Thu, 23 Jan 2014With the fourth-generation Cadillac Escalade set to go on sale in April, Cadillac has released the pricing data for its fullsize luxury SUV. While there's no retail configurator yet, the data posted on AOL Autos - and confirmed by Cadillac - shows that the 2015 Escalade will have a starting price of $71,695 (*not including $995 for destination).
This new starting price is about $8,000 more than the outgoing model, but Cadillac is quick to point out that the latest 'Slade is packed with more standard equipment in the new base Standard trim that actually puts it more on par with the midlevel Premium trim on the 2014 model (currently priced at $73,245). These new standard features include Magnetic Ride Control, LED headlights and taillights and 20-inch wheels.
Stepping up to the 2015 Escalade Luxury, the price increases to $75,695 and includes added equipment like 22-inch wheels, head-up display, power fold-and-tumble second-row seats and safety systems such as forward collision warning and lane departure warning. The top-rung 2015 Escalade Premium will start at $80,195 adding features such as a rear-seat entertainment system, illuminated exterior door handles and the Driver Assist Package consisting of front and rear automatic braking and adaptive cruise control.
