I purchased this from the second owner from what I was told by him is that he purchased the car from his friend the purchased it new and drive it very very little and then after his friend had pass on his wife called him and sold it to him and he and his wife drove it on the weekends and some beach trips. He told me the miles are org I can not verify the miles but it shows to be org 48000 miles my mechanic went thro the car and he service it and tuned it and change all fluids and the trans was slipping so it took it to the trans shop and I have a receipt showing that they rebuilt it the front ujoints and the rubber boots look good. The top works and the a/c is all there I think it needs charging but it take the old a/c charge. This is a head turning car it drives great and looks like a million dollars my kids love it. This car has no warranty other then the trans work that was done The car is being sold as is were is. No returns.The car will need a new dash cover and carpet and the back two side panels are the only thing that really needs to be recovered the interior is 40 years old but it is not rip up it may die and look good. Buyer is responsible for pick up are shipping I will help load if ship. |

GM delivers best Q3 sales since 1980, 2.4M vehicles sold

Even after registering over 70 recalls through the first three-quarters of 2014, General Motors saw its best Q3 results since Jimmy Carter was in the White House, registering over 2.4 million global sales between June and September on the back of strong results in the US and China.
US sales were marshaled by good results for GM's pickups, the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra, which bumped the manufacturer's truck market share to 35.6 percent, up nearly three points from Q1 2014. Buick has seen healthy growth as well, with the Encore dominating its segment for the sixth month running.
It was China, though, that really bolstered GM's sales, as the company's efforts to top last year's record-setting 3.16 million units continued apace. Small SUV sales saw massive growth, with Encore, Chevrolet Trax and Captiva figures jumping 90 percent in Q3. Brand-wise, Chevrolet, Cadillac and Buick all saw sales gains in the PRC, with each recording double-digit year-over-year jumps. Cadillac sales alone were up 63 percent compared to the first nine months of 2013.
GM recalling 2013 Buick LaCrosse, Cadillac SRX over transmission software
Thu, 21 Mar 2013The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued recalls for the 2013 Buick LaCrosse and 2013 Cadillac SRX due to a problem with the software for the transmission controller. On about 27,000 SRX and LaCrosse models, the transmission could accidentally be shifted to Sport mode, which would reduce the amount of engine braking drivers experience.
NHTSA says this could increase the risk of a crash, but, fortunately, the required fix is simply an update to the software.
While we're on the subject of General Motors vehicle recalls, a small number (48) of compressed natural gas versions of the 2011 Chevrolet Express are also being recalled for a potential risk of fire or explosion. Yikes. Both official recall notices are posted below.
2016 Cadillac ATS-V brandishes 450 horses and 6-speed manual
Tue, 11 Nov 2014Details about the hotly anticipated 2016 Cadillac ATS-V are tumbling out, and they look to be everything we could ask for in a high-performance Caddy coupe.
According to Road & Track, the ATS-V will use a version of the twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter V6 from the CTS Vsport, but the wick will be turned up to 450 horsepower and 445 pound-feet of torque. In glorious news for driving enthusiasts everywhere, that potent mill will be available with either a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic.
According to R&T, the engine has a heap of high-performance tech to let it make the extra ponies, including titanium connecting rods, two water-to-air intercoolers, titanium turbines for the turbos and an additional radiator dedicated to cooling the gearbox and electronically locking differential. Keeping it all planted are a set of Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires, and a suspension with 50 percent more roll stiffness.
