2000 Cadillac Eldorado ESC FULLY LOADED, ALL ORIGINAL CAR Bought car May of last year for $4,300. No rust on car, Fully Loaded, heated Leather seats. Power everything. good paint, and rims in great shape. Brand new battery bought December 2013. I put all new ceramic brake pads, new rotors and calipers on the car in June of 2013. A/C needs to be charged. *The car started overheating a few weeks ago, so we have decided to sell it. Car is being sold AS IS! I checked the heads for head gasket leaks when we bought the car, the tested fine. Car has 146,000 miles on it so I'd say it may need just a water pump/thermostat OR it is possible that the heads do need to be re-done on it now. I do not know. Car is being sold AS IS. After 10 minutes of driving she overheats. Car is located in Rego Park, Queens. You would need to tow the car to where ever you plan to bring it. * $200 deposit via Paypal is due within 24 hrs after close of auction. Payment in cash ONLY upon picking up of car. Autoline Detroit recently played host to Bob Lutz, and, as is always the case, the former General Motors vice chairman dished out some great commentary. Lutz was promoting his new book Car Guys vs. Bean Counters: The Battle for the Soul of American Business, and talk quickly turned to his role as it related to product development and high-level decision making at GM. While on the topic of brand management, Lutz revealed a few rather interesting tidbits about his former employer:

Akerson says Cadillac will get a larger sedan within two years
Mon, 22 Jul 2013It seems that during a recent affair showing off the 2014 Cadillac CTS, General Motors CEO Dan Akerson confirmed reports regarding a new Cadillac flagship sedan. According to USA Today, which Akerson was visiting, he said that a sedan larger than the XTS would debut within the next two years.
This matches up with what we heard earlier in the month about a Cadillac model that will go up against the BMW 7 Series and Mercedes-Benz S-Class (not a pricier, low-volume sedan also discussed in that article). But this is the first time a high-profile executive name has been attributed to such a report, and the first time a broad timeframe has been mentioned. This article adds that the unnamed car will be rear-, and all-wheel drive with a platform "loosely based" on the new CTS, with styling closer to that car than recent Cadillac concept vehicles. The XTS will continue production of course, as well.
Cadillac confirms 420-hp twin-turbo V6 for 2014 CTS [w/videos]
Mon, 18 Mar 2013The 2014 CTS will break cover next week at the New York Auto Show, but Cadillac has released a few details of what we can expect to find under the car's hood. As we saw in some spy shots back in January, the biggest news for the midsize Caddy will be a twin-turbocharged V6 producing a whopping 420 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque.
This LF3 engine will be paired to a new eight-speed automatic transmission, which will help balance performance and fuel economy. We still don't know how much the 2014 CTS has grown in terms of size and weight, but General Motors says that new sedan will return 17 miles per gallon in the city and 25 mpg highway with the new engine to go with a 0-60 mile per hour time of 4.6 seconds - that means the new CTS will have the fuel economy close to the current base model sedan and acceleration not too far from the current CTS-V. General Motors also confirmed that this twin-turbo V6 will be available in the 2014 XTS this fall.
The next-generation CTS will carry over the 3.6-liter V6 from the current car (likely as a base engine) and also add the 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder from the ATS. Check out all the details on this new engine and watch a few videos (including GM's nifty tilt rig) by scrolling below.
