I HAD THE TRANSFER CASE REPLACED LAST FALL, TIRES ARE ABOVE 50%. THIS TRUCK IS DIAMOND WHITE PEARL AND HAS A GRAY LEATHER INTERIOR. WOODGRAIN PACKAGE COMES STANDARD ON THE ESCALADE. HAS HEATED SEATS, MOONROOF, 6 DISC CD CHANGER. NEW BATTERY LAST WEEK, NEW ALTERNATOR LAST MONTH, ALL MAINTENANCE DONE EVERY 3K MILES. I AM PICKY AND I KEEP UP ON MY TRUCKS. I JUST DROVE THIS TRUCK TO FLORIDA LAST MONTH AND BACK, TOTAL 2300 MILES I PUT ON IT. RUNS LIKE A SWISS WATCH. I HAVE SEEN ESCALADES GO WELL OVER 500,000 MILES, THAT IS NO JOKE, THEY SEEM TO BE BULLETPROOF, NOTHING REALLY BREAKS. THE ABS AND BRAKE LIGHT ARE ON, I BELIEVE IT IS A WHEEL SENSOR, ALSO SINCE I HAVE OWNED IT FOR 2+ YEARS THE SERVICE STABILITY SYSTEM LIGHT HAS BEEN ON, THE GM DEALER NEEDS TO SHUT IT OFF, I DIDN'T WANT TO WASTE MY MONEY SO IT HAS STAYED ON, AND CAUSES NO ISSUE WHAT SO EVER. THIS TRUCK IS COMFORTABLE, THE INTERIOR IS IN VERY NICE SHAPE. 3 ROW SEAT IS EASILY REMOVABLE. I WILL TELL YOU THAT THE CARPET BEHIND THE 3RD ROW SEAT WHICH IS WHERE STORAGE GOES HAS SOME WEAR. CAN PUT A MAT THERE IF DESIRED, THE REST OF THE INTERIOR IS IN ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION VERY NICELY MAINTAINED. I BOUGHT THIS ESCALADE FROM A WOMAN WHO WAS IN SALES, THAT'S WHY THERE IS SO MANY MILES ON IT. WAS ALWAYS SERVICED AND MAINTAINED. I JUST PUT NEW BRAKES ON THIS ESCALADE AS WELL. Cadillac ATS Coupe spy photos show more sedate two-door
Tue, 23 Apr 2013Remember when the Cadillac CTS Coupe debuted, and we were all like, "Oh hello there?" Well, don't expect the same thing to happen when the new ATS Coupe is unveiled - these brand new (overexposed) spy shots show a two-door that's decidedly more sedate than the angular yet curvaceous and all-around good-looking CTS Coupe. This isn't to say that the smaller Caddy Coupe won't be attractive - the four-door version is plenty pretty, to be sure - it just likely won't have that extra somethin'-somethin' to truly set it apart from the sedan.
Fine, then. We don't doubt that the two-door ATS will be just as enjoyable to drive as its sedan sibling, with a lot of the mechanical stuff likely carrying over unchanged. That includes the powertrain options, meaning buyers will be able to choose from the naturally aspirated 2.5-liter inline-four, turbocharged 2.0-liter four, or larger free-breathing 3.6-liter V6.
Look for the 2014 ATS Coupe to enter production in January of next year, meaning a reveal later this year (LA Auto Show, perhaps?) would be in order.
Consumer Reports loves the 2014 Cadillac CTS
Mon, 16 Sep 2013Our first drive of the 2014 Cadillac CTS was just published today... we really liked the Vsport version. And Consumer Reports has some even stronger words of praise for the all-new luxury sedan. We already knew that Cadillac had stepped up its game with the third-gen CTS, but CR bluntly states that the sedan drives better than its German luxury counterparts.
While CR shows plenty of love for the new CTS, the outlet still takes issue with some of the in-car technology including the CUE infotainment system - no surprise there. The testers' offer all manner of positive comments where the impressive handling capabilities of the sedan are concerned, with lots of drifting around CR's private test facility in evidence to bear them out. OnStar RemoteLink mobile app coming standard on all new GM vehicles
Thu, 06 Jun 2013As an evolution and improvement of its OnStar technology, General Motors has announced that it will be expanding the RemoteLink Mobile App on most 2014 model year Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac vehicles. The new, aptly named RemoteLink Key Fob Services will allow users to remotely operate all of the same systems as the car's key fob, including locking and unlocking the doors and remote starting (on vehicles equipped with a factory remote starter) using a smartphone.
These Key Fob Services will be free for five years - starting from the vehicle's delivery date - but the full suite of RemoteLink features will continue to be offered only with a subscription (trial or paid). These premium features include contacting a live adviser, getting turn-by-turn directions and remotely monitoring the vehicle's diagnostic systems.
