This is for my 2007 Cadillac escalade. I have had this car for about 4 years now. It is actually the 4th escalade I have owned (3 of which I have bought and now sold through eBay). Generally, it is in perfect condition. Zero problems with the car whatsoever with alittle over 77k miles. Has just been detailed and cleaned, inside and out. There are a few points to make:
1. I have had body work done to it. A couple scratches buffed out and upon deciding to sell, I had the front bumper and lower bumper replaced ( some idiot hit it while it was parked but it wasn't enough to fix at the time). There are some normal minor scratches just from wear and tear. I have pointed them out.
2. When I bought the car, it did NOT have navigation. So i purchased a GM OEM nav system and had it installed. Works perfect along with XM radio. Only thing it does NOT have is the backup camera.
3. It does have the rear seating DVD player. I have never used it, but it also comes with a remote control and headsets.
4. Has '22 Cadillac factory stock rims and tires. Tires have about 65% life left on them.
5. The trailer hitch is basically falling off. For some reason this happens with a lot of escalades, even if you look at the ones listed for sale or just seeing them on the road. It is still attached which apparently is rare...
For these reasons, along with the fact that i am planning a move to NYC, is why i made the buy it now slightly lower. I think these are the only I needed to make. If there are any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.
Thanks!

Consumer Reports explains its disdain for infotainment
Thu, 20 Mar 2014One of the perks of reviewing all manner of cars and trucks is that we're exposed to all the different infotainment systems. Whether Cadillac's CUE, Chrysler's UConnect, BMW's iDrive or MyFord Touch, we sample each and every infotainment system on the market.
Not surprisingly, some are better than others. It seems consumers have come to a similar consensus, with Consumer Reports claiming that Ford and Lincoln, Cadillac and Honda offer the worst user infotainment experiences. Not surprisingly, you won't find much argument among the Autoblog staff.
Take a look below to see just what it is about the latest batch of infotainment systems that grinds CR's gears. After that, scroll down into Comments and let us know if you agree with the mag's views.
OnStar RemoteLink mobile app coming standard on all new GM vehicles
Thu, 06 Jun 2013As an evolution and improvement of its OnStar technology, General Motors has announced that it will be expanding the RemoteLink Mobile App on most 2014 model year Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac vehicles. The new, aptly named RemoteLink Key Fob Services will allow users to remotely operate all of the same systems as the car's key fob, including locking and unlocking the doors and remote starting (on vehicles equipped with a factory remote starter) using a smartphone.
These Key Fob Services will be free for five years - starting from the vehicle's delivery date - but the full suite of RemoteLink features will continue to be offered only with a subscription (trial or paid). These premium features include contacting a live adviser, getting turn-by-turn directions and remotely monitoring the vehicle's diagnostic systems.

Cadillac Elmiraj has production potential
Tue, 20 Aug 2013There are many reasons to love the Cadillac Elmiraj Concept, but not the least of which is how production-ready this big coupe appears to be. Take out the overly fancy interior and a few conceptual elements of the exterior, and this looks like a coupe that could be in dealers now as the successor to the Eldorado.
On top of that, Automotive News is quoting Bob Ferguson, Cadillac senior vice president, as saying that a production version of this car is "very doable." AN adds that if the Monterey showstopper gets the green-light, this car would compete against the upcoming Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe and would based on Cadillac's upcoming rear-wheel-drive flagship sedan due out in 2015. The range-topping coupe would debut sometime after the sedan model. Cross your fingers.
