Sioux City, Iowa, United States

1976 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham.

This vehicle is in great condition, with 33,990 original miles, I am the third owner, and have only driven the car 525 miles since I purchased it five yrs. ago. That is the reason for this sale. I just don't use it.

This Cadillac has the V-8, 500 engine, automatic trans. Leather seats and interior, plus all power,  steering, breaks, windows, seats, door locks, radio aerial, and trunk closure, along with, tilt and telescoping steering wheel. Also equipped with rear seat foot rest.

Vehicle was stored for 20 yrs. when I purchased it in '09, and had '89 plates on it at that time. Mechanically in great condition.

The A/C compressor does pull in, but needs to be charged. Not using the car, I just never had it done. (I was told this A/C has been changed over to the newer R-35.)

Comes with original factory floor mats, original paint. Vinyl top is faded and really needs to be repainted or replaced. Top has no tears or rips, but is starting to show slight cracking.

There is one small dent near rear passenger door. Clock does not work, but will come with a new one ordered in '88, but was never installed. All other accessories work that I know of.

This car is in great condition for it’s age, and somebody is going to get a very nice car. This automobile is a pleasure to drive, very solid and quiet.

Car is located in Sioux City, IA. Inspections are welcome, at bidders own time and expense prior to the close of sale. Car will be sold as is, no warranty. Vehicle is for sale locally, and Ebay listing may be cancelled at any time.

A deposit of $1,000 within 48 hours of purchase.  (Paypal or wire transfer.). Full payment within 7 days., cash or wire transfer. Clear, Iowa title. Seller will assist in shipping arrangements if needed.

Car has low reserve.

Thanks for looking.

Consumer Reports loves the 2014 Cadillac CTS

Mon, 16 Sep 2013

Our first drive of the 2014 Cadillac CTS was just published today... we really liked the Vsport version. And Consumer Reports has some even stronger words of praise for the all-new luxury sedan. We already knew that Cadillac had stepped up its game with the third-gen CTS, but CR bluntly states that the sedan drives better than its German luxury counterparts.
While CR shows plenty of love for the new CTS, the outlet still takes issue with some of the in-car technology including the CUE infotainment system - no surprise there. The testers' offer all manner of positive comments where the impressive handling capabilities of the sedan are concerned, with lots of drifting around CR's private test facility in evidence to bear them out. Scroll down to watch the CTS get put through its paces.

Cadillac upgrades ATS sedan to match new coupe

Thu, 10 Jul 2014

The big news when it comes to the Cadillac ATS for 2015 is surely the addition of the new coupe model, but that doesn't mean that Cadillac has forgotten about the sedan as well. In fact GM's luxury brand has rolled out a few choice enhancements for the four-door to bring it more in line with the new coupe.
Among those changes that we spotted a couple of weeks ago is a new front fascia that incorporates the brand's new wreath-less emblem, and a sleeker front bumper. The interior has been upgraded as well with new trim options as well as some new tech including Siri Eyes Free functionality, dictated text messaging and optional inductive smartphone charging.
Though the ATS Coupe does away with the base engine, sedan buyers can still opt for the 2.0-liter four with 202 horsepower and 191 pound-feet of torque. The 3.6-liter V6 carries over unchanged at 321 hp and 275 lb-ft, but the 2.0-liter turbo four gets the upgraded torque rating of 295 lb-ft (the highest in the range) to go with its 272 hp. Some new color choices are also among the upgrades you can read more about in the press release below.

Playboy reveals its 2013 Cars of the Year

Thu, 20 Dec 2012

Vaunted men's magazine Playboy knows that its readers are nearly as interested in cars as they are in the female anatomy... sorry, we thought we could write that with a straight face. Anyway, the buff-book does occasionally fill some of its spreads with sexy metal, to accent all the rest of the sexiness.
To wit, the magazine has unveiled its feature on the 2013 Cars of the Year. Without giving us much in the way of criteria for the awards, nor a clear framing of the categories ("Responsible Ride" is a particularly challenging concept, especially when you consider that the Mazdaspeed3 was the winner), Playboy has nevertheless highlighted what we assume to be it's favorite 12 or 13 (depending on how you count) cars from the 2013 model year.
Headlining the class is the Porsche 911, which Playboy writers single out for having "remarkable electronic voodoo." BMW M5 is named "Slickest Sports Sedan" though the Cadillac ATS then follows on because "we couldn't resist giving the new Caddy a shout-out." The rest of the picks are pretty conventional (save, perhaps, the Honda Fit EV as "Ace Electric"), even if the categories and methodology are fairly wonky. Cruise through or gallery for a taste or check out the full list, here. The site is safe for work, and you can legitimately (this time) say that you were reading it for the articles.
