OF ALL THE CARS I HAVE OWNED IN MY LIFE, I WOULD HAVE TO SAY THAT THIS CADILLAC IS BY FAR THE CAR THAT TURNED THE MOST HEADS. WOW!!! AS THE THIRD OWNER OF THIS CAR, (I BOUGHT IT THE SAME DAY THE ORIGINAL OWNER SOLD IT TO THE DEALER, WHICH MADE ME THE THIRD OWNER). I DONT KNOW WHERE TO BEGIN. I'LL START BY SAYING THAT FOR A 22 YEAR OLD CAR IT ONLY HAS 62520 ORIGINAL ACTUAL MILES (CARFAX CERTIFIED)!!! I TOOK THE CAR TO THE CADILLAC DEALERSHIP FOR SERVICE AND HAD THEM PUT NEW BRAKES, CHANGED THE OIL, CHANGED THE SPARK PLUGS, AND CHANGED ALL OF THE AIR FILTERS! I DROVE IT ON THE FREEWAY AND FELT LIKE I WAS FLOATING ON AIR. THE ENGINE PURRS LIKE A KITTEN AND THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTS SMOOTHLY. NO ISSUES WHAT SO EVER. THE BODY HAS NO DENTS OR SCRATCHES ON IT. IT HAS THE ELEGANCE GOLD ORNAMENTATION PACKAGE. NOW FOR THE INTERIOR IT HAS LEATHER SEATS (THEY ARE SO BIG AND COMFORTABLE YOU'D THINK YOU ARE SITTING ON A COUCH), LEATHER DOOR TRIMS, POWER SEATS, POWER WINDOWS, POWER LOCKS, POWER STEERING, COLD AC (FRONT AND REAR DEFROST), ALSO HAS THE AUTOATIC DAY AND NIGHT REAR VIEW MIRROW WHERE IT AUTOMATICALLY DIMS IF SOMEONE GIVES YOU A HEADLIGHT. THE TRUNK IS VERY SPACIOUS. THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST CARS OUT THERE. YOU WOULD NOT FIND ONE LIKE IT NOR WOULD YOU BE DISSAPOINTED. Cadillac Elmiraj has production potential

There are many reasons to love the Cadillac Elmiraj Concept, but not the least of which is how production-ready this big coupe appears to be. Take out the overly fancy interior and a few conceptual elements of the exterior, and this looks like a coupe that could be in dealers now as the successor to the Eldorado.
On top of that, Automotive News is quoting Bob Ferguson, Cadillac senior vice president, as saying that a production version of this car is "very doable." AN adds that if the Monterey showstopper gets the green-light, this car would compete against the upcoming Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe and would based on Cadillac's upcoming rear-wheel-drive flagship sedan due out in 2015. The range-topping coupe would debut sometime after the sedan model. Cross your fingers.

Cadillac Elmiraj Concept slinks in Leno's Garage

Jay Leno's Garage has moved to Pebble Beach for the week. This time around, the affable comedian is taking a look at the Cadillac Elmiraj Concept that debuted during the Monterey car week, and is talking to General Motors vice president of global design, Ed Welburn.
There's plenty of reminiscing about what concept cars were like when these two were kids, before a fairly deep dive into the striking Elmiraj Concept itself. Welburn shares a few anecdotes about the design process behind the two-door concept, including how his designers changed his mind on the grille design.
After bringing up the Cimarron, Leno makes a solid point that the Elmiraj would be a solid production car that could even spawn a four-door variant. We couldn't agree more. Take a look below for the full video from Jay Leno's Garage.
