Beautiful Black on Black 2008 Certified Pre-Owned Cadillac STS with the sought after 3.6 Liter V6 engine by GM providing wonderful Gas Mileage. (With gas prices these days this is important) I purchased this car from a local Cadillac Dealership and was told the Certified Pre-Owned warranty is valid through October 2015 - at purchase. In the past month I have replaced the Front Brakes and completed and Oil Change as well as had a few minor warranty items replaced - dealer itemized list available upon request or please take the VIN to any Cadillac dealership and check for yourself - then you can see all about the car. This is truly a great car and with all the bells and whistles, as listed above, it is a lot of car for the money. My current job has forced me to need a large truck therefore I have to change vehicles as I can not afford 2 car payments and a mortgage. My price is set fairly with the miles and warranty - I currently owe $26,254.13 on the vehicle and will pay the difference of the sale price to the bank to have the title released to the new owner. I am financed locally with WestStar Credit Union and the title is held locally therefore once payment is sent to my bank to pay off I will be called in to Sign title off with a lien release form attached so the buyer can register with a clear title. Cadillac logo losing its wreath?

The easily recognizable Cadillac logo dates back to the company's founding in the early 1900s, but over the last 110 years, there has been an on-again, off-again love affair with the wreath surrounding the crest. Cadillac's current badge design has used the wreath since the 1980s, but Automotive News is reporting that GM's luxury division is planning to ditch the laurel wreath for a cleaner-looking logo.
The new logo could make its debut as early as next month on a new concept car that will be revealed at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, although the report also says that it might be until 2015 before it makes its way to a production car. Even then, it doesn't like anything has been finalized yet, as the article also says that plans could still change.
As Cadillac looks to improve its global presence as a luxury automaker, the report says that a simpler logo could make it easier for designers to incorporate the badge onto the car - either in the grille or above the grille (possibly in a fashion similar to Mercedes-Benz). GM delivers best Q3 sales since 1980, 2.4M vehicles sold

People are a weird sort. Even after registering over 70 recalls through the first three-quarters of 2014, General Motors saw its best Q3 results since Jimmy Carter was in the White House, registering over 2.4 million global sales between June and September on the back of strong results in the US and China.
US sales were marshaled by good results for GM's pickups, the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra, which bumped the manufacturer's truck market share to 35.6 percent, up nearly three points from Q1 2014. Buick has seen healthy growth as well, with the Encore dominating its segment for the sixth month running.
It was China, though, that really bolstered GM's sales, as the company's efforts to top last year's record-setting 3.16 million units continued apace. Small SUV sales saw massive growth, with Encore, Chevrolet Trax and Captiva figures jumping 90 percent in Q3. Brand-wise, Chevrolet, Cadillac and Buick all saw sales gains in the PRC, with each recording double-digit year-over-year jumps. Cadillac sales alone were up 63 percent compared to the first nine months of 2013.
